The 7 Deadly Sins to Success

Why you're afraid to achieve the success you deserve!

It's not all butterflies and rainbows. Success is hard, but it can be done. It takes determination, motivation, and courage to achieve the success you deserve.

Too many people fight through their days with these sins weighing them down like an anchor around their neck. They don't know how to let go or they're afraid that if they try for something different from what has always worked in the past!

You want to start a business, but you haven't yet. What can you do to get yourself on the road to success? You may identify what is preventing you from achieving your goals and take action to overcome these frequent but deadly roadblocks:

Lack of Goals

If you sit down at your computer without a purpose, you'll usually spend hours browsing aimlessly. This is a time-consuming process. Decide what you want to accomplish and make it as clear as possible; then post copies of them all over your house so that you can't read them at least 5 times a day.

You can't fight what your mind believes. If you do anything to make them a reality, they will not be beyond your grasp.

Lack of Money

Okay, for some of us this will be an actual problem, but most of us can quit or cut back on something, such as smoking, a single glass of wine, or aerobics class. Most of us will discover something to reduce or give up for the few months it takes to get started.

The Internet now offers so many free resources that it's the most cost-effective way to start a company, so grab hold of your purse or give up a vice and get aboard.

No Research

This is a deadly obstacle. You may believe you have a product concept, but unless you are certain there is a demand for it, you won't know if it will succeed. You can inquire about their thoughts by making a list.

Alternatively, you may go to some of the many discussion boards and ask for opinions from other people. Develop nothing until you're reasonably sure there's a demand for it. Even better, create something after you've studied a market and understand what consumers want.

Scared of Failure

Have you ever heard the saying "Do you think Einstein got it right the first time?" Do you believe any inventor gets it correct on the first try? It's reasonable to assume that, in most cases, it takes hundreds or even thousands of attempts before they're "Eureka."

Don't be afraid of making mistakes or giving up when one happens. Learn from your failures and don't be afraid of them or give up when one occurs. Learn from your errors and move on with your next plan of action with confidence.

Information Overload

I've heard about this one before! In your head, you have a plethora of marketing ideas that mingle together and make your mind confused. You can't even think of any straight thoughts because your brain is so cluttered. The solution to this problem is to take things one step at a time.

It's all about testing your hypothesis and seeing whether it works before moving on. And when you discover something that works, don't stop practicing it. Then you can try something else if you want to. It's preferable to be excellent at one thing rather than average at many things.

You might also attempt picking one or two gurus to follow. If you frame it in your own words, you can replicate their success.

Procrastination

This is the one skill you should learn to avoid being a master at it! There will never be another day. Don't put things off for tomorrow that you can accomplish today. Every day, move you closer to your objectives. I'm sure TV can be entertaining, but imagine what you might accomplish if you spent that time making big money on the Internet instead.

Your imagination is the only limiting factor.

Other People’s Views

Don't let others put you down, whether it's your spouse, boss, children, friends, neighbors, acquaintances, or anyone else. If you want to succeed, it is entirely on you and there is no one to help you. Keep that single-mindedness firmly in place and don't change your mind about anything.

The key to overcoming any obstacle in life is identifying what stopped us from achieving these goals before taking steps towards victory. We have all been there, and it’s time for a change!
