The 7 Deadly Sins of Cultural Commitment

The value of a smarter company culture isn’t rocket science, yet it’s value is often unappreciated until the business is in dire need of benefiting from it.

Maximum business performance, what drives that for both the enterprise and startup engines?

Your employee culture.

It’s BOTH understanding your employees and your employee culture. Breakthrough Radio’s intention for our conversation with Stan Slap is to help you find real answers. To solve the mystery that has puzzled business owners and managers for years.

  • Why does an employee culture really resist change?
  • What does it care about more than money?
  • Why does it respond to leadership differently than to management?
  • How does it talk to itself, and what does it mean when it won’t talk with you?
  • Why are company values the most dangerous threat to gaining trust?

If you have a wonderful employee culture, our conversation will help you scale it. If you have employees under pressure this conversation will help you see it. If you have a troubled company culture, this conversation will help you identify it and along with Under the Hood, give you a door to walk through in order to improve it.

Michele Price of Breakthrough Business Strategy Radio #BBSRadio recently invited me on her show to talk about my new book Under the Hood and #EmployeeCulture.

To listen to the interview, simply click here. Once you land on the blogtalk radio website, the podcast will stream at the top of the page and it will look like in the screenshot below. Move the recording to the 25 minute mark.

You can find more information at SLAPCompany.com/Book or order the book directly from Amazon.com.

Let's also engage on Twitter. My handle is @StanSlap and the hashtag I use most is #EmployeeCulture.

I keep finding more each time I pick up the book Stan. Even after reading it to prep four our interview, I found myself going over it again during a late lunch and finding an answer to a challenge for a community organization I work with here in Houston.
