It’s the holiday season, a time for joy, reflection, and … troubleshooting, yes troubleshooting last-minute IT emergencies.
As we wrap up the year, I thought I’d offer my own twist on the the holiday classic “The 12 Days of Christmas,” but come on man who has the time for 12 days when cybersecurity threats are 24/7
Let’s dive into the Seven Days of Christmas for Business Owners, I.T.-style!
On the First Day of Christmas, my MSP gave to me: One Secure Network Tree.
Forget ornaments and tinsel—your network tree is now decked out with firewalls, endpoint protections, and a shiny intrusion detection system. These are the building blocks for your business’s holiday cheer… because no one is going to be stealing your data while you’re enjoying eggnog.
On the Second Day of Christmas, my MSP gave to me: Multi Factor Authentication.
“Passwords are like gingerbread houses,” we say. Without a second layer of security, hackers will munch right through. With 2FA, even if someone guesses your password (perhaps SANTA123), they’ll need a second key to get in. Consider it the ultimate stocking stuffer for your business.
On the Third Day of Christmas, my MSP gave to me: Three Cloud Backups.
Nothing says “peace on earth” like knowing your data is safe, even in a winter storm. With off-site cloud backups, we’ve got you covered. Whoops I accidentally deleted that? Ransomware attacks? Spilled cocoa on your keyboard? No problem—your business continuity is secure.
On the Fourth Day of Christmas, my MSP gave to me: Four Hours Saved Weekly.
Imagine all the time your team could save by outsourcing your IT headaches to a professional. No more DIY troubleshooting, no more time spent on hold with a software, phone, or Internet vendor—just efficient, friendly, knowledgeable support. That’s time you can use for wrapping presents (or crushing your year-end deadlines).
On the Fifth Day of Christmas, my MSP gave to me: FIVE GOLDEN UPGRADES!
From outdated servers to slow computers and glitchy software, your systems are finally upgraded and running at peak performance. (And yes, these upgrades do sparkle more than Rudolph’s nose!)

On the Sixth Day of Christmas, my MSP gave to me: Six Phishing Tests.
Did you know that 91% of cyberattacks start with a phishing email? That’s why we’ve sent out simulated phishing emails to your team… and trained them to spot fake “urgent requests” from a “CEO” who happens to be shopping in the Bahamas. Shhhh we won't tell.... Knowledge is power, people!
On the Seventh Day of Christmas, my MSP gave to me: Seven Threats Deflected.
Hackers never take a holiday, but thankfully, neither do our monitoring systems or our team. From ransomware attempts to malware-laden links, your defenses have been working overtime so you can keep sipping your peppermint latte worry-free.
