This is yet another iPaaS player launching AI capabilities to enhance integration capabilities.? The iPaaS use cases / value proposition seems to be getting clearer with iPaaS potentially helping to make data for AI available. Link
- Massimo Pezzini, ex Gartner analyst, now at Workato writes about how AI can create value across Enterprise Integration use cases.? This is the first article I have read that is concrete on the AI value proposition in iPaaS.? It's going to be exciting to see the symbioses between AI and iPaaS and if iPaaS growth picks up as many predict.? Is AI what will convince skeptical enterprises to embrace iPaaS and ditch their custom integrations? ? link
- Gartner says mis-using Gen AI will diminish the value of AI in organizations.? Gartner says that Gen AI is just one part of the broader AI landscape and a combination of AI techniques is what is required.? “If all you have is a GenAI hammer, everything looks like a Gen-AI use case nail”? link
- Boomi releases a strategic playbook for AI adoption.? Similar to the other news on the topic of AI and iPaaS the theme is the need for data for AI and how iPaaS platforms can contribute to realizing AI value. As it says, data quality and data liquidity are key constraints in AI deployment today.? Link
- The Economist magazine questions if the AI hype is over and if it’s proof that the tech will succeed.? According to US Census Bureau 5,1% of US companies have implemented AI down from 5,4% earlier this year.? Are we seeing AI going through Gartner’s hype cycles?? Link
- Mark Zuckerberg and Daniel Ek claims Europe is well positioned to lead the wave of expected Open source AI developments but regulation needs to be streamlined across the continent. The joint statement by the two prominent tech personalities claim that Europe has more open source developers than the US. Link
- What is model collapse - the AI doom?? Model collapse refers to the hypothetical scenario of AI models getting dumber by learning from AI generated content published to the internet.? So, with an increasing amount of AI generated content, will AI models that require information for training continue to develop based on training on information and articles that are themselves AI generated??
