At first I was alarmed by this, I assumed that my clients wanted to know this for reasons of wanting to fire my firm or do some kind of "do it yourself" approach, however, I realized with a line of questioning that my clients LOVE what we do for them however, they want to be proactive and do all they can to attract as much traffic as possible to their website from any source available. The more traffic, the more conversions. The more conversions, the more sales. You get it right?

Anyway, one thing you should know about "people in this industry" of SEO, most won't ever try and steer you away or decline your business so they will tell you that if you're not on page one, you're not in the game, which is actually true but they tell you that without it you're dead in the water.

Sure, being on page one is great if there's a market for what you do and the people are actively searching online for solutions. However, SEO isn't the "be all end all". It's just another thing you can do to improve exposure in a market and drive traffic.

But... there ARE many many other ways to drive traffic to your website and I don't want you to ever feel like if you're not doing optimization stuff that you're going to fail or that you won't succeed, here are seven ways that have worked really well for myself and others in my circle of influence to drive traffic without SEO:
