After a quick lunch at the Bangalore International Centre cafeteria, the team assembled back for the afternoon session of the day.

Our Chief guest for this session was Dr. Ajai Chowdhry who is the co-founder of HCL which is very close to our hearts and is a Padma Bhushan recipient. He is also fondly called as the ‘ Father of Indian Hardware” as he was responsible for setting a lot of trends in the Computer hardware journey in India.

After a nice welcome of Dr. Ajay, we started the session with a traditional lamp lighting by the guests and the 3ST Team.

Light dispels darkness, ignorance and weakness and represents knowledge and prosperity.

After the Lamp lighting, we had Sesha presenting on the 3ST journey so far. He made a passionate presentation and took us through the start-up learnings, how tough decisions had to be made and how the scaling up journey started.

He also shared the vision for 3ST and what we will be focusing on in the next 5 years.

The next session which the audience was eagerly waiting for was Dr. Ajai Chowdhry’s address.

Dr. Ajai Chowdhry is a visionary pioneer who cofounded HCL in 1976 with five others, with a dream of using the microprocessor and changing the world.

His tireless efforts in building the Indian Electronics industry were recognized in 2011 when he was conferred the prestigious Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian honor.

Dr. Chowdhry’s journey from Jabalpur, a small town in Madhya Pradesh, to becoming the ‘Father of Indian Hardware’ is nothing short of extraordinary. Capturing this remarkable life, his memoir, Just Aspire: Notes on Technology, Entrepreneurship and the Future, is published by HarperCollins India.

Dr. Ajai gave the team an insight on how to capture new business, the things we should focus on for growth and strategies to sustain the business. It was a very interesting talk and the audience listened with rapt attention.

During his talk, he also mentioned about the 'Coffee with Ajai' session that he had with Sesha and his team long time ago. Sesha fondly recalled that he treasured that Coffee mug still and is a source of inspiration to him to this day.

After the addressal, as a mark of our respect for him, we felicitated Dr Ajai in a very traditional Karnataka style with a momento and a ‘peta (turban) and angavastra’. He was delighted with this gesture. Dr. Ajai Chowdhry being the Chief-guest in our event was a great honour for us and a big mile-stone in the 3ST journey.

We also presented him with a Tanjore painting of Lord Ganesha as a mark of knowledge and remover of obstacles!

We then had the honour of launching our new Business vertical – Enterprise Service Solutions in the presence of Dr. Ajai.

CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility – this is one of the important aspects of any growing organisation.

3ST has graduated to a position where contributing to CSR is mandatory for us to engage in.

We announced our engagement with Link Charitable Trust.

Link charitable Trust has a Two-fold mission:

-?????????To provide quality education for children with gaps in their formal education

-?????????To advocate, support and fund life-saving surgeries for children.

Ms. Urvi Jariwala – founder of this trust received a placard from Dr. Ajai Chowdhry to mark our support to the Trust.

After the Long Service Awards, we had the presentation of the Rolling Trophy. Nobody was aware of the chosen team for the year. It was bagged by the ‘New Business team’ which was led by Girish.

When we thought it was done, another set of Awards was announced by Sesha. The 3ST Aspire Awards for 2022-2023.

Many years earlier, Sesha had received an 'Aspire Award' at HCL from Dr.Ajai Choudhry ,for being a person who could drive change and be a trusted leader. Sesha wanted to replicate a similar concept at 3ST. Hence it was called as the 3ST Aspire Awards. This year's award was named as the ' Collaborative 3ST ONE' and the Award went to the leadership team : Mr. Amitava, Mr. Girish , Ms. Hema & Ms. Sujatha for their contribution in working collaboratively to keep up the 3ST culture , building the 'Together towards tomorrow' spirit , binding the entire 3ST team together and moving towards a common goal.

That brought us to the end of a very energising event! Thanks to the entire team that supported to make this event happen flawlessly. Kudos to the entire 3ST team who have supported us to come to this stage and who have contributed in their own ways to scale the business and make 3ST visible in the Services arena.
