Product Manager-Haz360? EHS Risk Mgt., BRSR Cloud? ESG Sustainability, Catalyst - Enabler - Organiser, AI enabled Go To Market Specialist, Agile/Scrum, Pre-Sales in ITO/BPO, Social Startup Entrepreneur (PwD inclusion)
I would like to thank IRESC founders Venkatesh and Sachin as well as my software development team and all the consultant colleagues at IRESC for giving me an opportunity and supporting our team in mentoring, consulting, testing, giving constructive feedback and building Haz360??https://www.haz360.cloud , a flexible Environmental Risk Management platform (Cloud based SaaS) and BRSR Cloud?? https://www.brsr.cloud an ESG Reporting platform (for Indian Listed companies based on GRI standards but can easily customized for any other standards without programming).
My email tag line is Begin with an End in Mind and my email footer reveals my dream to acquire 25,000 users for our SaaS platforms. (@USD1,000, USD25 million ARR).
I had been a Product Creator from the beginning of my career. My first product being “COS-Jewel” a Jewelry ERP/ POS for Manufacturing, Subcontracting and Retail. Though I had very good clients between 1991 to 2008, the Financial Tsunami destroyed that goal. With good team and financial support, I believe Haz360?? can grow and achieve this dream.
Looking forward for support and guidance from IRESC colleagues, Clients, Partners, Government entities and Angel Investors in making this dream come true – my 60th year wish (I turned 60 officially end Mar).
In these 6 years, I learnt a lot about Chemical Process Safety terminologies which I had no knowledge about prior to 2018 - HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, ALARM. SIMOPS, SIF, BOWTIE, SRS, SCE, PS, MOC and many more .
?
I also take this opportunity to thank many of our Clients (100+ Global EPCs and Owners) and our Partners who gave valuable feedback as well as members of the HKSAR Government’s Innovation and Technology ?(HKITF - ESS) team for giving us an opportunity to showcase our capabilities.
?
Some of the major achievements:
1. Our management team convinced 100+ Global Engineering Procurement Construction companies’ and Owners’ procurement department and got it approved to use Haz360?? for the sessions instead of the competitive software.
?
2. ?We were selected and approved by HKSAR Government’s Innovation and Technology (HKITF-ESS), to demonstrate our R&D Innovation.
?
We added many new innovations during this 18-month journey with HKITF:
2.01 SaaS enablement (Subscription Management)
2.02 Flexible Risk Register (we demonstrated with Building Management Systematic Risk Register)
2.03 Action Closeout Workflow (with flexible design
2.04 Bow Tie
2.05 SIL Verification (with Markov calculation)
2.06 Alarm management
2.07 Dashboards for Status, Ageing etc.

I am thankful for the management team’s risk taking appetite in-spite of many hurdles along the way and investing in nurturing new ideas and applying for funding from the Government. I wish more companies would come forward and support individuals with startup ideas. If SMEs can do, why not large Governments and Corporates in backing startup ideas?
?
I recently saw this image about Women’s challenges in the society and the hurdles for them to manage career and caring. It is true for Startup Entrepreneurs also. I really wish all the Governments, Corporates, Associations truly help and ease and remove all the bureaucratic hurdles and give mentor, guide and nurture how to make them successful.
Money alone cannot do that. All People, Process and Technology need to get aligned. Startups need help in many ways on how to navigate and remove blocks and enhance collaboration in Product Engineering, User Interface/User Experience design, Cloud Infrastructure (100% uptime), Quality Assurance, and more, most importantly Go To Market Revenue generation to grow multiple X moth on month and year on year. Both Product Quality and Revenue generation are key for the success of any startups.
Chicken or Egg - funding or client revenue first - it is a tricky conundrum - VC prefer companies with client traction and Clients want ready to use Product and a great Support team , without funding how can developers turn just deas to working MVP and build great team?
Even if you have the best product, if no one is aware of or pays for that it is a loss. Most startups fail because of this Product Market Fit and lack of Go To Market support. Hence Timing is very important since the technology advances rapidly. Early mover have definite advantage.
You need a great cohesive team with common 'Customer Centric' vision of providing target prospects the best user experience both in terms of Product features as well as great Customer Service with deep product knowledge of how it will be used.
Typically each department only do what they know and do not care about the end objective "happy customer - Net Promoter Score". "why are we doing" and "who is paying the paycheck" . Off-course customers also can be sometimes demanding (un-educated and not follow any process and delay all decisions to last minute) and expecting too much - hence balance is required. But in any case Customer is King. In Japanese “Okyakusama wa kamisama desu” which means, "The Customers are the God".
Quality is very important. Who else can teach better than Japanese. I am a firm believer of Toyota Production System (TPS) and my favorite is "Genchi Gembutsu" - “go and see for yourself" - wear the shoes of customers!
I am happy to share and mentor anyone if my experience so for can be of any help. I also would take this opportunity to invite any Partners interested working with us to penetrate the market. Our No-Code platform can be applied to many Industry Segments - Oil and Gas, Chemical, Fertilizer, Agri/Food (Dust Hazard), Pharma (Drug Risk), Health care (Patient Risk), Transportation (Rail/Bus Risk), Logistics (Robotic Warehouse), Wind Farms, Construction and many more.

I am also volunteering with https://www.gradgaig.com to train and engage Person with Disabilities (PwDs), giving them opportunities to do dignified knowledge-based work from home at their own pace integrating AI tools to increase their efficiency especially for Go To Market Revenue generation.
Request you (readers of this post) to support by discussing with your internal team and initiate actions to employ one or more persons with disabilities. If you need assistance on how to implement you can ping me. Based on my research, based on BRSR reports in India - the Diversity (Women in Management) and Inclusion (Persons with Disabilities is very low. Though there is no bench mark one can clearly see the big gap.
Thanking you,
Director
