6G the Talk of the Town

6G -the term that has been out there for sometime in the discussions of Technocrats has picked momentum in the recent past.Thanks to 5G technologies, that increased speed of life through millimeter wave engineering- the extension to the increasing needs is proposed to be 6G. The new technology is aimed at achieving microsecond latency- which is thousand times faster than its predecessor.

The demanding needs of Artificial Intelligence and ML would have this technology quite handy for the fertile thoughts and solutions. The throughput rates can reach upto 1 Terabyte-which is very significant for many data intensive applications. Even the Mobilty landscape also takes a paradigm shift with these rates.

Few Asian and European companies and Universities already started working this. One of them have launched a Satellite to support this initiative.

The Operating Frequencies of this technologies uses the frequencies as high as 95Ghz and can go upto few Tera Hertzes. The domains like IOT, Mobility and imaging would get the significant advantage because of this Leap. Very soon we will see the days of down-loading multiple HD movies within a splash of a second.

Prime Minister of India has announced the Initiative towards 6G on the event of recent Independence day. India also would play active part towards contribution towards this technology. Looking forward to see 6G would make lives more meaningful.
