Details:?The report comes from Mike Florio (PFT), who notes that the league will probably?wait ?to finalize a suspension until the legal process has been completed.

• Kamara is facing felony battery charges for a?fight ?he got into in Las Vegas, on Pro Bowl weekend. His next hearing is scheduled for August.

Impact:?If Kamara is suspended for the first six weeks of the season, the Saints will be without their top playmaker against the Falcons, Buccaneers, Panthers, Vikings, Seahawks, and Bengals.

NO RB Depth:?Mark Ingram figures to start in place of Kamara during the suspension. With Tony Jones Jr. and Dwayne Washington providing additional depth.

RB Market:?The Saints are expected to add a running back — they’ve already visited with David Johnson and could kick the tires on Jalen Richard, Devontae Booker, and Alex Collins.

• A trade for Browns RB D’Ernest Johnson, who is?apparently ?a “prime training camp trade candidate,” could also be explored.

Dak Prescott is expected to run more in 2022

Details:?The insight comes from Jon Machota (The Athletic), who notes that Cowboys’ offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is likely to call more?designed runs ?for Prescott.

• Prescott was limited by a calf injury last season, which led to fewer rushing opportunities.

Impact:?Machota expects more read-option calls inside the red zone, which should boost Prescott's rushing touchdown total — he averaged six rushing touchdowns per season from 2016-2018.

• Aaron Wilson (Pro Football Network) is reporting that there is “mutual ” interest between Seattle and Mayfield.

Moving On:?According to Wilson, the Browns have no intention of keeping Mayfield — even if Deshaun Watson ends up getting suspended for the entire season (which looks increasingly likely).

Bills CB Tre’Davious White is likely to start the season on IR

Details:?If White is?placed ?on IR, he’ll miss a minimum of four games.

• The All-Pro corner tore his ACL in late November and did not participate in OTAs earlier this month.

Impact:?The Bills’ first four games include challenging matchups against the Rams, Titans, Dolphins, and Ravens.

BUF CB Depth:?Dane Jackson (58.5 PFF grade) and rookie first-rounder Kaiir Elam will start on the outside until White is able to return. The Bills also have Taron Johnson, Siran Neal, and rookie sixth-rounder Christian Benford at the position.

Details:?The statement comes from Broncos’ offensive coordinator Justin Outten, who has been particularly impressed with Okwuegbunam’s?grasp ?of the playbook.

• Okwuegbunam is expected to replace Noah Fant as the Broncos’ starting tight end.

Jets rookie RB Breece Hall is expected to start over Michael Carter

Details:?Matt Hughes (The Athletic) writes that the Jets will employ a running back by committee approach in 2022 — but?expects ?Hall to “be the Batman to Carter's Robin.”

• The Jets view Hall as more of a “home run threat.”

Hall Profile:?Hall, a second-round pick, totaled 1,774 scrimmage yards (1,427 rushing, 302 receiving) and 23 touchdowns at Iowa State last season. He ran the 40-yard dash in a fantastic 4.39 seconds.

Carter Profile:?Carter, a 2021 fourth-rounder, totaled 964 scrimmage yards (639 rushing, 325 receiving) and 4 touchdowns as a rookie last season.

Upside:?Both Hall and Carter should find room to run behind an offensive line that is set to feature three former first-round picks — LG Laken Tomlinson, RG Alijah Vera-Tucker, and RT Mekhi Becton.
