60 questions to start your journaling routine ?????

A new year is just around the corner and with it comes a series of new years resolutions. ?

Many of us resolve to practice more self-reflection and want to make writing a routine - For good reason!?

Journaling offers a number of benefits: A better mood, fewer stress-related doctor visits, increased psychological well-being, fewer depressive symptoms, better memory, and reduced absenteeism from work*. ?

Nevertheless, many people find it difficult to integrate journaling into their daily lives. The blank page of a diary can feel daunting and many methods of journaling require a fair amount of discipline. ??

So what to do if you want to be accountable to your good intentions but feel uninspired? A simple trick can be the use of inspiring questions.

Instead of staring at a blank sheet of paper, choose one of the journaling questions below and begin your journaling routine. ??

If you like the experience, block out time in your calendar accordingly and try to go through each question bit by bit over the next 2 months.

  14. Is there something you are afraid of? What is your greatest fear?
  15. What are your most important values?
  16. If you could have something written on a big billboard where you live, what would it be?
  17. What would you like to change about yourself and why?
  18. How would you describe your life to a stranger?
