Let us dive into some strategies you can use to dust off those old articles and breathe new life into them.
Add New Value
There isn’t any reason to reinvent the wheel, when it’s possible to update an old post in less than 30 minutes. As you browse old articles, find some areas where it’s possible to add something a bit extra. Maybe you could tie that post to a new technology, a recent event, a recently published study, or a new statistic. In doing so, your old posts will be even more educational than they were before.
Change the Type of Content
Here’s the fun thing about content: everyone consumes it in different ways. A simple way to place a new spin on old posts includes turning the piece into a new asset. Try to turn an old written post into a short video, a webinar, podcast, or eBook into an infographic.
