7 Things Never Tell Your Boss
Your opinion about your boss when you quit
Your professional reputation is not based on who signs your checks. So, don't damage relationships.
Your finances
Good or bad, don't share it. If good, probably your boss may be jealous and this may affect your probability of getting a promotion when you deserve it. If bad, he may assume that if you don't have your personal life in order, you're less likely to be able to handle more responsibility at work.
Don't get political
Politics at work often has negative consequences, and it's not always worth the risk.
How bad your last boss was
Your boss will perceive this as a warning sign that you may one day criticize him or her too.
That you hate colleague X
Most bosses believe that personal issues should be resolved between people in a private. So, resolve your differences with this person directly.
Say what you mean directly
There is no need to sandwich bitter truth with sweet lie. That sandwich just doesn’t taste right.
This is not in my job description
If it's what your boss asked you, then just do it.
