?Saniflo’s Sanicom 2 duplex drain pump chosen by Crescent Industries to drain three ultrasonic cleaning tanks, used to keep plastic injection molds contaminant-free.
Crescent Industries is a technology-based injection molding facility specializing in 2D/3D part and mold designs, 3D printing, mold-fill simulation, material selection, and more.... Creating molds, means you also need to clean the molds. This is why Crescent Ind. has an ultrasonic cleaning system, located in their maintenance area.
Problem: To pump the waste from three separate cleaning tanks, each holding approximately 80 gallons of a water solution.? Winter’s main concerns were the water volume the pump needs to handle all at once, AS WELL as the 180°F high temperature of the solution.
Solution: Since Winter?was looking for a pump that could accommodate high temperatures, Saniflo’s technical team recommended the?Sanicom 2.?It is the ideal choice thanks to it's ability to handle 140 gallons of fluid per minute, with both pumps automatically activating when the incoming flow rate exceeds that of a single pump. The innovative dual-motor technology brings not only more pumping power to high-demand commercial applications, but also invaluable redundancy.
If one motor requires servicing, the second serves as an essential backup, keeping operations going in the interim.and chemically drain resistant enclosure. Saniflo SFA's duplex drain pump handles up to 194°F
Heavy-duty commercial drain pump makes bar renovations possible at Rhode Island brewery
Problem: This brewery’s new location posed a difficult plumbing situation. According to Geoff O’Leary, owner of O’Leary Plumbing & Heating, they had originally planned to install traditional underground drain lines, but “during the initial construction of the brewery, they utilized a space without any plumbing plans available, so we had no idea what the plumbing setup looked like,” explains O’Leary.
Solution: Luckily Plumber Geoff O’Leary solved this plumbing challenge for Revival Brewing & Lost Valley Pizza with Saniflo SFA’s Sanicom 2 drain pump.
Coffee shop owner overcomes “nightmare” application with Sanicom1 Drain Pumps
Problem: Renting a business suit means NO MAJOR CONSTRUCTION ALLOWED…
This includes adding café equipment. So Stoyle had to find an alternative solution that would allow for the drainage of all his equipment, which includes two espresso machines, a dishwasher, an ice machine, a three-base sink, two prep sinks, and a reverse osmosis water filter.
Solution: Luckily, the plumber recommended above-floor, drain pump technology without hesitation. Stoyle trusted the plumber’s expertise and his recommendation to install Sanicom 1 drain pumps made by Saniflo.
Three Sanicom 1 units were installed to discharge the gray water from eight kitchen fixtures. Each Sanicom 1 unit connects to a vent pipe running up the wall and through the roof to the outdoors. This vent is hidden behind a stainless steel backsplash on the wall behind the sinks.
“It’s hard to put a dollar value on it, but without these pumps, our business wouldn’t be operational,” says Stoyle. “Saniflo made the business possible, and the Sanicom 1 units have saved us a lot of time, money and headaches.”

Plumber installs above floor drain-pump and grinder system at riverfront restaurant to comply with FEMA regulations
?
This two-story restaurant sits on stilts and is surrounded by 45 boat slips, allowing customers to walk directly from their boats into the newly remodeled Widow’s Den, a Key West-style outdoor bar on the bottom floor. Adding restrooms and an updated bar area were some of the major renovations included in the restaurant’s recent remodeling project.
Problem - “A big outside element, of course, is floodwater,” says Widow Fletcher’s owner?Mark Spier.. “If bay water gets into the local sewer system, it will create havoc throughout the city’s lift stations and sanitary system.”
Plumber?Frank Roman?of?Roman Plumbing?says: “If you have a storm surge, the restaurant’s lower level will flood. Therefore conventional plumbing wouldn’t work, because you would be introducing the bay water into the city’s sanitary system.”
Solution – Sanicom1 and Sanibest Pro The Sanibest Pro’s one-horsepower pump can discharge effluent up to 25 feet vertically and up to 150 feet horizontally. The Sanibest Pro will discharge not only black water from a toilet but also gray water from a sink and a tub/shower. Designed for both commercial and residential applications, the Sanicom 1 can discharge gray water away from a variety of fixtures up to 25 feet vertically and/or 250 feet horizontally. Small enough to fit inside a kitchen cabinet, the unit was designed to meet the toughest applications, including water temperatures up to 194°F.
?Hope Vibes nonprofit provides NC’s homeless with mobile shower & laundry center
Even after providing personal hygiene products to their homeless community, the Threatts found one sad reality lingering in the backs of their minds. The people they were helping still didn’t have the everyday pleasure of taking a shower, something Emmanuel counts as “a basic American right” and privilege most people take for granted.
Problem: They were bringing the solution to the homeless via trailer. “Our idea was to bring full bathing and laundry facilities to our homeless community, so that they don’t have to leave the place they call home to take a shower,” explains Emmanuel. According to Emmanuel, “We didn’t want to worry about clogging.” By partnering the Sanigrind Pro and Sanicom1, all the plumbing challenges were overcome!
Solution: The Hope Tank will provide 25 to 50 showers a day and handle 15 to 20 loads of laundry, Hope Vibes estimates. “We’ve had a couple of test runs, and everything works the way it needs to,” says Emmanuel.
“At the end of the day, the success of The Hope Tank relies on the strength of community partnerships, so we are thrilled that we were able to partner with Saniflo.”
Specialty ink and coatings manufacturer finds stronger, more-efficient pressure pump solution for unique, new washer-extractor unit
Eastern Tech Co. optimizes the production efficiency of a prototyped machine to coat garments in mass quantities, using Saniflo’s Sanicom 1 and Sanicom 2 heavy-duty drain pumps.
?Eastern Tech Company?is a specialty ink and coatings manufacturer, headquartered in Orange, CT. Its team of chemists and production technicians has researched, developed and produced quality ink products for various industries in the United States and worldwide.
Problem: They were in the market to replace a ? horsepower pressure pump to handle the manufactured (acidic) “pretreatment” chemicals for digital printing on t-shirts and garments.?
Solution: Coming to find our Sanicom 1. Eastern Tech felt confident it could be a great solution for their new washer-extractor prototype. The next step was to install the unit and run tests.
?“The Sanicom 1 is a 1-HP pump, which is stronger than the underperforming, ?-horsepower pressure pump we were using,” explains Chris Chen, Product Manager, Eastern Tech. “The core value of the Saniflo pump to us was the ability to transfer fluid faster to increase efficiency and stabilize our system. Since the fluid moves faster, everything is more stable.” while withstanding gray water with highly acidic properties, up to 194°F.
