6 placements within a month

6 placements within a month

The first year I joined Vargo, I was told that 2-3 placements per month were usual.

Last month, I made 6 placements, which was probably a bit beyond my boss' expectations.

The 2024 financial year hasn't finished yet, I already hit 6 figures for my billings so far with the strong support of my boss; I'm still hoping to achieve more by the end of April!

By support, I don't only mean in terms of work itself.

The things I could think about off the top of my head are working from home, being trusted, having the autonomy to manage my time on different tasks, and never feeling guilty for taking a holiday..

Frankly, the company I work for has never explicitly emphasized the importance of mental health, but their actions speak louder than words. Hence, I feel happy at work every day; as a result, our candidates and clients can feel my positive mood - isn't that important?

My secret working methods to aim high and achieve more:

  • I tend to have hyper-focus during my working hours, which allows me to analyze the job description in-depth, and then understand the candidates' needs from their perspective.
  • Personally, I don't like to watch any TikTok-ish videos. I found short videos are very distracting to my thinking process.
  • Trying to be a good human! The moment I start engaging with a candidate or a client, I aim to help them achieve what they want, not what I want.
