How do we become better?
What do we do when we decide that we really truly want to live our potential?
These are my six pillars to being better.
1. Knowing our values.?
What's truly important to us.
What really brings us energy?
How do we make key decisions?
How are we understanding others?
2. Do we know who we want to be. In our relationships, health, career, financials, social time, our mentors??
What is our best day look like??
3. Consistency of positive habits. Being better isn't an overnight change.
It takes consistency, commitment, energy, focus, and positivity every single day.
What consistent habits do we have in our life to move us just 1% forward every single day, even on the tough days.
4. Owning our mistakes and using them to grow. Blaming the past now that's for not being the person we want to be is never going to make us to be better.

If we need to forgive, then forgive. Everyone is doing their best. Holding on to toxic feelings just wastes time. Our life is our responsibility, nobody else's. We must stop making excuses and take action.
5. Have meaningful goals and actions. Goals for goal's sake will rarely put us forward. Goals that truly mean something with the why attached to them have a much better chance of getting us to every day to strive for them.
Using our values to guide us, ie. why do we want to own a lot of money?
Is it because it gives us choice?
Makes us safe? Gives opportunities to build memories? I said the goals that are why's, just a set of goals are rarely will be fulfilled.
6. Find your purpose.
Find your purpose takes courage, but life leaves clues. Look back in your life.
What made you happy?
What do you love doing?
What kind of conversations with people are you drawn to?
Being better isn't an overnight change.
It takes lots of micro decisions and actions every single day.
Knowing what looks, what better looks like is the first step.
