- Microfibre cloth. Surely by now you're wearing glasses. Stop cleaning them on your jumper and use a microfibre cloth. If you don't need glasses because you've had laser eye surgery or are some kind of unicorn with perfect eyes (jealous) then this cloth is perfect for your laptop screen.
- Power adapter. Hopefully you've read my article on power adapters. If you haven't you should, it's one my better ones (I think). For your laptop bag, ditch your laptop charger and get a power adaptor instead. It's smaller, lighter, and way more useful. Which one should you get? Read my article! :)
- Charger cables. As many as you need to keep devices you carry around, charged. So we're talking a lightning cable for iPhones, iPads and AirPods and USB-C cables for headphones, other smartphones and laptops (and iPhone 15s for all the Apple fanboys/girls....). Also, make sure the cables you carry, can connect to the power adapter you've bought from tip number 2.
- A battery pack. You can get quite slim 10000mAh battery packs for cheap. Make sure it has the same USB connections as the power adapter and you're cooking with gas (or electricity in this case). Anyway, if you're pretty switched on with how charged your devices are, you won't need to use this much, but its super handy to have. They hold their charge for a long time too, and if you ever want to be someone's hero, honestly, if someone's running low on phone battery. And you ark up and tell them they can use your battery pack, BOOM, instant bestie! Trust me.
- Spare batteries for your wireless mouse. Ok, don't kid yourself thinking you're equally as adept with the touchpad as you are with a mouse. I keep thinking I am, and when my hand gets RSI from all the contortion required to navigate the touchpad, I reach for the mouse. You'd think I'd learn. So buy batteries just incase the mouse starts to go wonky, cause when it does, it's when you need it the most. Cause unfortunately, IT is like that.
- Mints. I am addicted to these. I have them everywhere! In every car, the home office, the laptop bag, bed side table, everywhere. Obviously, it helps with breath if you've just had a garlicy lunch, a cigarette (please quit) or are in ketosis (don't ask). And you know, it's always nice to offer one to people as an ice breaker.
