6 Months Into My Entrepreneurial Journey!

6 months into launching my new business, here are the 6 most significant lessons I've learned along the way:

#1. Personal brand > business brand.

In the digital age of 2024, building a personal brand is more important than building a business brand. Remember, founder builds the business, not the other way around.

#2. Building trust and authority takes time

Treat building trust as a marathon, not like a sprint. It will take time. But in some 12-24 months timeframe, you will be far ahead of anyone who hasn't jumped on this boat yet.

#3. Sell before your build

Don't build and MVP, and then knock on the doors hoping someone will buy. You HAVE to sell before you spend a $ on building that awesome product people will beg you to pay for.

#4. Failure will give you perspective no series of successes can

There is a reason why your role models are where they are. They didn't give up when it was easy to give up than keep going. Embrace the failure, learn and move on. The shorter the feedback loop, the better and bigger the results.

#5. Your outcomes are a result of your priorities

Struggling with a problem? Is there a slot in your calendar that you reserved for solving it? If not, don't be surprised if you are still struggling with it in another 6 months

#6. Niche down

If you are selling to everyone, you are selling to none. The narrower the niche, the bigger the outcome. You want to serve clients who uplift your soul when you service them. Ignore the noise, don't say Yes to everyone. Protect your time more than your money.
