6 lessons we've learned in 6 years

6 lessons we've learned in 6 years

Hi YOU!

It’s our birthday month! Future Females officially turned 6 YEARS OLD last Thursday!

The last 6 years have been an epic journey of growing, supporting, evolving, and building an amazing community of powerhouses, like yourself!

Throughout the journey, we have learnt a lot, and in celebration of our 6th year in business, we wanted to share with you six lessons we’ve learnt along the way….

1. As CEO, one of your greatest responsibilities is managing your own energy.

There’s no such thing as overnight success. Starting a sustainable and impactful business is like running a marathon & you’re gonna have highs & lows that demand different things from you. And so, making sure that you integrate energy management practices into your days & weeks is critical so that you can continue. Remember, the energy at the top is felt all the way down through the team & out to your community.

2. Instead of asking how, ask WHO.

Essentially entrepreneurship is a team sport. We could have never gotten as far as we have so quickly without the amazing support of our team. As the leader, this requires that when you come up with a new project/strategy, instead of asking how, ask who can I engage? Who can do this? Who can manage the how for me & probably do it better than me?

3. It’s OK to slow down to speed up.

Many businesses fail due to indigestion rather than starvation, & scaling too quickly can be a massive risk for team burnout & for customer experience. That’s why in 2022, we slowed growth to zero so that we could rebuild our entire platform & relaunch a solution that we knew was going to sustain us & serve our community for the next 5 years rather than always thinking month to month.

4. If ever in doubt, go back to “What problem am I solving”.

As a purpose-led business that’s aiming to create value for the lives of our members, if we’re ever in doubt of something we’re creating or a campaign we’re putting together, we always just go back to…what problem are we solving? What problem is our community facing that this solution is going to solve?

5. Sell ONE thing to MORE people (rather than many things).

In the early days, Future Females evolved really organically, creating solutions & expanding globally as the opportunity arose. BUT a few years in this left our business & team spread quite thin; selling & managing many different programs & offerings to many different groups of people. We’ve since learned that the best way to scale sustainably is to rather sell one thing (the biggest, most impactful thing) to more people.

6. Treat your community like an extension of your team.

Being community driven has always been one of our core values since day one. We’ve always understood what it is our community needs & then co-created a solution with them. In this regard, our community acts like an extension of our team - keeping our business on track for our greater vision & purpose & in the day to day where we uphold our values.

We're thrilled to have reached this milestone as a business, and the past 6 successful years wouldn’t have been possible without you being here with us, so a BIG thank you for all your support over the years!

On top of all this excitement we've also launched a new course , led by the phenomenal Alex Beadon. This course equips you with the tools to design and execute a six-figure launch strategy. If you're striving for your first six-figure launch, this is your opportunity.

Course Highlights:

  • Foundation: Launch vs. Evergreen strategies
  • Growth: Phases of a six-figure launch, optimized sales tactics
  • Mastery: Metrics for success, analysis, and optimization

Are you prepared to propel your business journey with us? Let's seize the future, together!
