6 Incredible Animal Stories That Will Amaze You
Week 5... Wow. That came out of nowhere. I didn't think time would fly by so fast, but here we are. Welcome back! ??
It's been a great lead-up to summer starting in June, with teasing sunshine and temps of 30 degrees helping to build up the excitement here in Vancouver.
Even better, there is sunshine in other places, and on this week's highlight, I want to dive deep into that sunshine and good news related to all the cute and cuddle ANIMALS.
Enjoy!
I forgot these exist?! ??
I want to kick things off with the cutest little animal. I totally forgot that Platypuses existed, and my eyes lit up when I saw this one. Thanks to UNSW's conversation efforts, Platypuses are being reintroduced into a national park in Australia.

The country expects the ruling to be most applicable in cases similar to child rights, such as custody battles. Many hope this will be the end of bullfighting, and yet others consider it a cultural heritage. Which side will prevail?

They have Rhinos where?? ??
If you're like me, you may be surprised by this one. I did not think there would be a large rhino population in Nepal, yet here I am, learning new things every day. Having only seen Nepal across the mountaintops from Tibet, I was surprised to read that they have plains where Rhinos roam freely.
Victims of war ??
One often neglected victim of war is both the domesticated and wild animals left behind, terrorized by constant shelling and gunfire. IFAW, a charity focused on animal welfare has focused strongly on supporting both people and animals in Ukraine from the terrors of war.
Doggo Portrait ??
And finally, to end this week's edition on a high note, let us look at a wholesome story. This WWII veteran was saddened to see no one wanted to adopt this dog, so offered his help.
And that's everything, folks.
I hope that most of you are animal lovers and that this has given you a boost to start your week of good. And if you're not, tough luck having a bad week....
See you next Monday for edition 6!
