Chatter Question

Starting in Summer ’16, Chatter Answers isn’t available in new organisations. but Orgs created before Summer ’16 continue to have access to Chatter Answers.

With Chatter Questions

1. You can ask questions to create forum-type discussions
   
2. Find answers without ever needing to leave Chatter
   
3. You can also create cases from questions in Chatter
   
4. Incorporate Chatter Questions into self-service communities
   
5. Find help on the go with the Salesforce1 mobile app
   

Additional Point

After a question is asked, moderators and the person who asked the question can select the best answer. The best answer is prominently displayed in the feed, allowing other users to quickly and easily find the information they need.

"Set by Record" File Access

Files attached to records now have a new way to set access via Sharing Settings. Instead of being limited to Viewer access only, you can set access to Set by Record. This feature is available in Salesforce Classic only.

What does it mean "Set by Record" File Access

When access is set to Set by Record, users with view access to the record also have view access to the file; and those who can edit the record can also edit the file. 

Authentication and Identity

When an identity verification method is added to a user’s account, the user gets an email. The email notification increases security for your users’ accounts. This feature is available in both Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic.

Process Builder

The Process Builder’s simple and powerful design allows you to:Create your processes using a convenient layout with point-and-click efficiency.

With Process Builder:

1. Create a record
2. Update any related record
3. Use a quick action to create a record, update a record, or log a call
4. Launch a flow
5. Send an email
6. Post to Chatter
7. Submit for approval
8. Call apex methods
9. Multiple if/then statement

Share Notes with Other Users or Groups

Sales users can now collaborate more easily by sharing notes with their teammates or Chatter groups. Recipients of a shared note can view notes but not edit them. This feature is available in both Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic.

Security Health Check

As an administrator, Health Check lets you identify and fix security vulnerabilities in your security settings, all from a single page. A summary score shows how your org measures against the Salesforce-recommended baseline.

Navigation to Health Check Page:

Setup => Health Check in the Quick Find box => select Health Check.

1. Salesforce Baseline standard consists of recommended values for settings in the Login Access Policies, Network Access, Password Policies, Remote Site Settings, and Session Settings groups 
2. If you change settings to be less restrictive than what’s in the Salesforce Baseline standard, your health check score can decrease
3. Your high- and medium-risk settings are shown with information about how they compare against the standard value
4. To remediate a risk, edit the setting 
5. Refresh your score to see whether it improved. Your settings that meet the standard are listed at the bottom
