6 Habits to be More Productive
Success is very simple. You either get the life that you want or you don't, What it comes down to is either taking action or not taking action.
If you don't take action because you're too worried, your fears, your limiting beliefs, other people's opinions or possibly being rejected then you're not going to get the life or success you want.
Here is how to be more productive so that when you are taking action, you’re taking the most efficient action towards the future.
Get moving
We all know what we need to do to be successful. Action creates action just as inaction creates inaction. It's really hard to get moving if we're not currently moving but once you start to move, you start to see progress. Then you start to get more motivated to continue making progress.
You need to get up and get your physical body moving in any way because our brain will usually follow the movements and the motions of our body. If we are laying down and vegetating, our brains will likely be doing the same. But if we can get ourselves up, force ourselves past that moment of resistance and actually get our body moving, it becomes easier.?
That's how you start being more productive. You have to have a get shit done attitude.?
Learn when you can
I find that when I learn something I think is really amazing, it actually gives me the energy to start working towards that thing or to start working towards something new.
There are so many opportunities in the day to learn. It could be when you're traveling, when you're going on a walk, when you're going for a car ride, when you're in the shower, when you're brushing your teeth, when you're driving your car. You just need to listen to a podcast or watch something on YouTube that interests and inspires you. Just listening to something that you can learn from motivates you to get better and in turn, be more productive.
Pomodoro Technique
Work for 25 minutes on only one task then take five minutes off. When you work for these 25 minutes, you don't do anything else.?
Turn off all notifications, put your phone in another room and remove any distractions. Do this for at least three cycles and you would have done an hour and a half of dedicated, uninterrupted work.
Remember that it is not that you do not have enough time in the day, most of us are just bad at managing our time.

Rather have a few hours of really productive work than eight hours of unfocused work and wondering at the end of the day what you have achieved.
Energy planning
All of us have different energy levels throughout the day. Take note of when your energy is really high and when your energy is really low.?
Figure out when your best time is to get tasks done and use that time to crank out your most important ones for the day.
Have a cutoff time
We all work better when we know we have a deadline or have to be done by a certain time. You work harder when you have a little fire under your butt. Working without a cutoff time and working till late at night can actually be counterproductive because you are being consumed by it.?
Just as a muscle needs time to rest so that it can be stronger, so does your brain. Having a cutoff time is going to help you be way more productive.
Plan out and prepare the night before
Take fifteen minutes at the end of each day and prepare for the next day.
Look at your to-do list and see what you got done, what you didn’t get done, and prioritize what's most important. Shift things around if you need to. Use a schedule and visualize what your perfect day looks like tomorrow. What's actually exciting is you become excited about going into your day because you already saw it going perfectly.
Don't ever say to yourself that you don't have enough time to be productive. If it's important to you, you'll figure it out and get it done.
