6 * 6 to build growth
Vinay Mehendi, PhD

Hello there,
I am NOT here to talk about DeepSeek but seek feedback.
This is my learning for the last 8 years.
I call it 6 (customer types) * 6 (touches).
What are these 6 customer types:
1. Existing Customers
2. Ex-Customers
3. Could not convert Customers
4. Customers who have taken other jobs
5. Prospects (including signups)
6. Investors, Partners (Potential and Existing)
What are 6 touch points:
???1. Onboarding
????2. Reminder for renewals
? 3. Reminder for Feedback (9 months before renewal - great time to ask for renewal, build relationship, show them the intent, and ask for feedback, and fix if anything goes wrong)
? ? 4-6. Thought Leadership Articles (without sany sales pitch).
Works wonders. 4-6 Touch points give me great # of top funnel leads. 3 gives me candid conversations. 1,3 touch points builds that trust.?
6 * 6 is simple, easy to follow, implement and track. # of customers in the list will increase with time, will have different journey also. It is worth the investment.?
If you can track your competitor's customers, you can nail the message very well.
Partners do not need a separate newsletter. They just want a reminder. Same thing for investors.?
# 4 Customers who have gone to other employers - This is the manual one or tough one to implement (even with automation). It takes efforts, persistence to reap rewards but tell me one thing that does not.
Apply 6 * 6 this year, let me know your feedback, bottlenecks.
