AI=5Trans-AI: Transcendental, Transdisciplinary, Transformative, Translational, Techno-Scientific Intelligence
We know everything about nothing and nothing about everything, which is the world as all reality, with all its unknowns requiring discovery, identification, or explanation: such as the universe we live in, the matter-antimatter imbalance or the nature and mechanism of intelligence.
There is an urgent intellectual need in the powerful machine intelligence and learning AI technology completing the human intelligence in solving the most critical problems.
We show that today's AI, as narrow AI systems, ML statistic algorithms, ANNs, self-driving transportation, robots, large language models (LLMs), voice assistants, or GPTs, is Non-AI but software automation.
To be real intelligent, the World Model Engine is requested. It is semantically and ontologically aligned with World's Data/Information/Knowledge, Algorithms, Programs and Supercomputing forms the foundation of the hyperintelligent technology.
Or, there is no real machine intelligence and learning without the Integrated World Model Engine :
General-Purpose AI Technology = Real AI= 5Trans-AI = Integrated World Knowing, Inference, Interaction + AI & GenAI & ML & DL & ANNs & LLMs +...
For example, Generative AI (GenAI) refers to the use of AI to create new content, like text, images, music, audio, code, and videos. It is described as using an ML model to "learn" the patterns and relationships in a dataset of human-created content, with the "learned patterns" to generate new content, while useless without simple natural language prompts.?
The End-to-End Platform for Real AI
This means that a Unified Platform for Generative and Predictive AI must run by the World Model Engine.
There is no comprehensive ML and end-to-end AI platforms in practice, if only as commercial hype or corporate fraud, negligence or ignorance, which should be recognized, prevented or explained, respectively; for faking AI has negative effects on individuals and societies with unforeseen and unanticipated consequences.
They are really software platforms for designing, deploying, and managing data analytics applications and statistical data models, unable to really forecast future events or outcomes, explain predictions or discovered patterns, thus having nothing to do with real, true or genuine AI Technology.
A Brief History of AI's Evolution
AI's impact in the next years is completely uncertain and unpredictable. But what is certain, AI is transforming every part of human lives. It influences how we work and play, study and entertain. It promises to help solve all the global challenges like climate change and nuclear war.
Yet AI also brings real challenges and risks for governments, businesses and citizens alike.
As it permeates economies and societies, what sort of AI model, policy and institutional frameworks should guide its design and use, and how can we ensure that it benefits society as a whole?
With AI technologies , human life will speed up, human behaviors will change and human societies and industries will be transformed -- and that's what can be predicted with certainty.
The concepts of human-made, machine intelligence and learning, control and communication, widely spread as artificial intelligence (AI), were innovated at the middle of the 20th century, by the following authors:
1943 McCulloch $ Pitts' artificial neural networks, mirroring human thought processes,
1948 C. Shannon’s “A Mathematical Theory of Communication” ,
1948 Hebb's Theoretical Neural Structure of AI sand ML algorithms,
1950 A. Turing's classic article, Computational Machinery and Intelligence ,
1958 Machine Learning, 1977 Computational Statistics or Statistical Computing and Predictive Analytics statistical techniques as data modeling, machine learning.
In August 1955, a group of scientists made a funding request for US$13,500 to study a new research field dubbed as artificial intelligence (AI), as automatic computers programmed or trained to use a language simulating many of the higher functions of the human brain:
"We propose that a 2 month, 10 man study of artificial intelligence be carried out during the summer of 1956 at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. The study is to proceed on the basis of the conjecture that every aspect of learning or any other feature of intelligence can in principle be so precisely described that a machine can be made to simulate it. An attempt will be made to find how to make machines use language, form abstractions and concepts, solve kinds of problems now reserved for humans, and improve themselves". A Brief History of Intelligence's Impact on Human History
First, it was the human intelligence itself, with all its long evolutionary history of trials and errors since its Cognitive Revolution occurring between 70,000 to 30,000 years ago to allow Homo sapiens to communicate in language to think of myths, religions, stories, legends, and fantasies. “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind: The Tree of Knowledge,” Yuval Noah Harari.
Then came mythological human-like superintelligences, as all sorts of superhuman beings, as gods and heroes, with beliefs, myths, and narratives, cults and rituals, temples and icons.
After there created a religious trans-intelligence, spiritual superbeings, as a supreme God or gods, holy, sacred, absolute, spiritual, divine, or worthy of especial reverence, and angels and demons, mediating between the transcendent and temporal realms, with superhuman beings, powers, and principles, religious traditions, institutions, believers and practices, from African religions to Zoroastrianism .
Meantime, philosophy and science has been developing, as metaphysics and logic, mathematics, astronomy and medicine and natural philosophy to provide explanations of the world as a whole or the vents and phenomena of the physical world based on natural causes. Natural philosophy was transformed during The Islamic Golden Age from the 8th century to the 16th century, the Scientific Revolution in 16th- to 17th-century Europe to the chemical revolution of the 18th century, the physical revolution of the 19th century and the biological and new physical revolutions of the 20th century.
For the first half of the 20th century, the concept of human-like technological machine intelligence held meaning almost exclusively for science fiction fans.
In sci-fi literature and cinema, robots, androids, sentient machines, aliens and other forms of AI sat at the center of many films -- from Metropolis to Terminator and Matrix t I, Robot and Ex Machina.
Only, in the second half of the last century, scientists and technologists began earnestly attempting to realize machine intelligence and learning, as a human-like and human-level technological intelligence.
The most foreword AI researchers and developers, as in Microsoft's OpenAI, focus on building superintelligence, but with a defective methodology of human-aligned superintelligence, succeeding human-like AI or AGI, artificial general intelligence, like as suggested by the?OECD Council Recommendation on Artificial Intelligence .
The Rationale: "Superintelligence will be the most impactful technology humanity has ever invented, and could help us solve many of the world’s most important problems. But the vast power of superintelligence could also be very dangerous, and could lead to the disempowerment of humanity or even human extinction".
AI vs. Non-AI (NAI)
The World Model Knowing, Inference and Interaction being aligned with World's Data/Information/Knowledge, Algorithms, Programs and Supercomputing forms the foundation of AI and its hyperintelligent technology.
The Integrated World Model Engine involves conceptual, onto-semantic, mathematical and scientific modelling? that produces?models?representing?entities and interactions, phenomena and processes, to know and understand, qualify and quantify, explain and?define, learn and reason,?visualize and communicate, model and?simulate, adapt and adjust the world.
As such, it is transcending the limits of all possible human experience and knowledge and intelligence, going beyond narrow tasks to achieve human-machine hyperintelligence.
Transcendental or Transcendent or Theoretic or Ontological, implying the highest conceptualizations or generalizations of the things in the world, as onto-semantic, conceptual models of reality, being beyond ordinary or common experience, thought, or belief, encoding an a priori world model and trans-categories, as reality and the world, substance and state, change and processes, interaction and relationship. It embraces Kant's transcendental categories of Quantity and Quality, Relation and Modality, as well as other categorical systems of reality.
Transdisciplinary AI, transgressing mono-, inter-, multi-disciplinary boundaries to create a holistic or integrated and systematic approach
Transformative AI , causing or able to cause an important and lasting change in someone or something, advanced AI systems as the next major GPT whose long-term impacts may be as profound as the industrial revolution
Translational AI , bridging the gaps between AI/data science and AI/data engineering, converting AI/DS theories to practice to create methodologies, processes, and tools to enable the translational effect on technology, business, society, and economy
Techno-Scientific Intelligence , machine, computing, artificial intelligence, the application of techno-scientific knowledge and intelligence to the change and manipulation of the human environment.
Whatever computing systems which are lacking the 5T-Intelligence features are Not-AI, as not having intelligence and understanding, learning or inference, planning or predicting, decision-making and interacting.
What is Not-AI
"The simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems";
Britannica's AI, the ability of a computer or computer-controlled robot to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings".
Google's AI: "a set of technologies that enable computers to perform a variety of advanced functions, including the ability to see , understand and translate spoken and written language , analyze data , make recommendations, and more".?

"To qualify as AI , a system must exhibit some level of learning and adapting. For this reason, decision-making systems, automation, and statistics are not AI.
AI is broadly defined in two categories: artificial narrow intelligence (ANI) and artificial general intelligence (AGI). To date, AGI does not exist.
The key challenge for creating a general AI is to adequately model the world with all the entirety of knowledge, in a consistent and useful manner. That’s a massive undertaking, to say the least.
Most of what we know as AI today has narrow intelligence – where a particular system addresses a particular problem. Unlike human intelligence, such narrow AI intelligence is effective only in the area in which it has been trained: fraud detection, facial recognition or social recommendations, for example".
All today's AI is Not-AI, including "predictive AI" and "generative AI" and large language models, as Google's LaMDA, Bard, Gemini, Microsoft's Co-Pilot or OpenAI's ChatGPT, but automation software technologies, like automatic human-programmed kitchen appliances.
Besides, to function properly, the NAI needs a lot of high-quality, unbiased data, what is practically impossible.
Co-Pilot, for augmenting human programmers, draws its data from billions of lines of code shared on GitHub. ChatGPT and other large language models use the billions of websites and text documents stored online.
Text-to-image tools, such as Stable Diffusion, DALLE-2, and Midjourney, use image-text pairs from data sets such as LAION-5B .
The NAI also needs powerful computational infrastructure for effective training. .
The NAI needs advanced mathematical models and algorithms.
As the real world constantly changes, NAI systems need to be constantly retrained using new data not to produce answers that are factually incorrect, or do not take into account new information that’s emerged since they were trained.
Again, today's AI tools and applications are data-driven software systems, having not 5T capacities, having no intelligence or understanding, learning or inferencing.

Abstract
We are at the edge of colossal changes. This is a critical moment of historical choice and opportunity. It could be the best 5 years ahead of us that we have ever had in human history or one of the worst, because we have all the power, technology and knowledge to create the most fundamental general-purpose technology (GPT), which could completely upend the whole human history.
The most important GPTs were fire, the wheel, language, writing, the printing press, the steam engine, electric power, information and telecommunications technology, all to be topped by real artificial intelligence technology.
Our study refers to Why and How the Real Machine Intelligence or True AI or Real Superintelligence (RSI) could be designed and developed, deployed and distributed in the next 5 years. The whole idea of RSI took about three decades in three phases. The first conceptual model of TransAI was published in 1989. It covered all possible physical phenomena, effects and processes. The more extended model of Real AI was developed in 1999. A complete theory of superintelligence, with its reality model, global knowledge base, NL programing language, and master algorithm, was presented in 2008.
The RSI project has been finally completed in 2020, with some key findings and discoveries being published on the EU AI Alliance/Futurium site in 20+ articles. The RSI features a unifying World Metamodel (Global Ontology), with a General Intelligence Framework (Master Algorithm), Standard Data Type Hierarchy, NL Programming Language, to effectively interact with the world by intelligent processing of its data, from the web data to the real-world data.
The basic results with technical specifications, classifications, formulas, algorithms, designs and patterns, were kept as a trade secret and documented as the Corporate Confidential Report: How to Engineer Man-Machine Superintelligence 2025.
As a member of EU AI Alliance, the author has proposed the Man-Machine RSI Platform as a key part of Transnational EU-Russia Project. To shape a smart and sustainable future, the world should invest into the RSI Science and Technology, for the Trans-AI paradigm is the way to an inclusive, instrumented, interconnected and intelligent world.
