5th Techno-Societal Theme Meeting

I am glad to inform you that we will get one more opportunity to interact on Techno-societal topics in 5th Techno-Societal theme meeting organised at our Institute on 4th and 5th November 2017. 

In this theme meeting Professors and Scientists from reputed organisation viz. IITs, IISc, BARC and other research labs etc will guide faculty members of Science and Technology Colleges about scientific processes of research or product development related to societal applications. 

Further, these mentors will help participants to convert their scientific ideas into research proposals. 

We are requesting few research funding agencies to consider the shortlisted proposals from this theme meetings for fast track funding consideration. Therefore, I would like to request you to prepare a 2 page funding proposal with reference to following points. Send a quick email on [email protected] expressing your interest in theme meeting and also forward this email to all your friends and professors interested in Techno-Societal Activities

1. Title of the project proposal

2. Name of the Institution where the work will be carried out.

3. Name of the investigator. 

4. Objective of the project. 

5. Methodology. 

6. Duration of the project.

7. Approximate cost of the project

8. What is the scope of the project? What end results are expected?

9. Why do you feel the necessity to undertake this work?

10. Who will be benefited by the proposed work and what is the scope for its replication?
