Celebrating Play at The Toy Fair
Balloons have endless potential, they can be used for sophisticated decor and elaborate sculptures but perhaps their first association will always be with the joy of childhood. That is why we were thrilled to be part of?Toys Milano & Bay-B?– an event dedicated to the early years sector including toys, holidays and parties.
Having been held online for the last two years, it was wonderful to attend this international event in person again. We certainly weren’t the only ones who felt that way, an astonishing 3000 visitors came to enjoy the expo, twice as many as attended in 2019.
The Toy Fair was organized by?Salone Internazionale del Giocattolo?in collaboration with?Assogiocattoli. Our owner?Genesio Rocca?is the Vice President of Assogiocattoli, so of course we had to bring beautiful Gemar balloons to add a touch of joy and lift the moment!
Gemar Masters?created some wonderful sculptures which brought fun and play to the event. From the moment visitors walked through the beautifully decorated entrance, they knew they were here to have fun as well as make business connections. Something that was very clear in visitor’s faces as they smiled and posed for photographs next to balloon filled letters spelling “PLAY”.
Play is vital in the life of a child and Assogiocattoli took this opportunity to announce the 2022?Gioco per Sempre?campaign. Translated as “I play forever”, this campaign aims to show everyone how fundamental play is, in child development and from a social and cultural perspective. Play is so vital that toys can be considered an essential item, a precious tool to be used as a child grows from newborn to adulthood. As such, the Gioco per Sempre campaign aims to change the seasonality of the toy market, playthings are needed every day not just on organised holidays.
We certainly believe in lifting every moment, turning even an ordinary day into a memory to be treasured.
