In my interpretation, the key takeaway from this quote is;

  • What you ultimately need is to win a game.
  • One of the winning KSF (Key Success Factors) in a modern corporate world is capturing Opportunities for Marketing.
  • Marketing Opportunities can be found in industrial changes from the changes of technologies and consumer/ lifestyle behavioural trends.
  • Industries, Technologies and Consumer Trends keep changing, to brush your antenna and engage what's happening in the world, what we should do is to "increase our network through 6 degrees of separation"
