  • 5G is the fifth generation network of cellular mobile communications, first launched in march 2019.Fifth-generation wireless (5G) is the latest iteration of cellular technology, engineered to greatly increase the speed and responsiveness of wireless networks. 5G uses many new technologies that make it faster than 4G. 5G currently can get between 100 Mbit/s and 2 Gbit/s depending on the frequency that is used.5G wireless technology is meant to deliver higher multi-Gbps peak data speeds, ultra low latency, more reliability, massive network capacity, increased availability, and a more uniform user experience to more users.Emerging 5G networks feature lower latency, higher capacity, and increased bandwidth compared to 4G. These network improvements will have far-reaching impacts on how people live, work, and play all over the world. Emerging 5G networks feature lower latency, higher capacity, and increased bandwidth compared to 4G. It is the fastest communication network available in the world. While 4G offers speeds of 40-50 Mbps depending on the area and connectivity in India, 5G services would support speeds of 300 Mbps or More. The 5G launch band at 3.5 GHz has been used by the majority of networks for initial services but an increase in the harmonised spectrum available will be required to maintain growth in subscribers and speeds. AWS believes this methodology for deploying 5G will allow Digital Service Providers (DSPs) to harness the power of a cloud native network. This will enable DSPs to operate with speed, efficiency and automation not yet seen in the industry today.
