VoNR E911 / Emergency Services will be an important milestone for Emergency Services evolution. With the enhanced and more precise positioning services available in 5G (MC-RTT, UL-AoA, etc) the 5G beam forming capability can be leveraged and by knowing the beam index a 5G device is on, a very precise location can be provided. In many cases an accuracy of less than 10 meters will be possible.

These 5G precise positioning techniques can also be used for enhanced Location-Based Services, Operator Services, Lawful Intercept, and Lawful Access.

This level of accuracy possible on 5G requires precise cell data, especially Azimuth information. JaggedXY can help ensure the accuracy and quality of the cell data, Neighbour Lists, and other inputs used for 5G precise positioning to provide the most accurate positions possible.
