?? Introducing the ADHD Sidekick! ??

??♂? Here's how it swoops in to save the day:

?? When your brain starts its usual distraction routine, simply jot down those nagging thoughts and tasks in your Sidekick. Your Sidekick can be a notebook, a digital notepad, or even generative AI.

I kid you not!

?? Finished with your work? Now, consult your trusty Sidekick to see if any of those thoughts deserve your immediate attention.

?? Harness your newfound focus and conquer your to-do list like a superhero!

?? Did you do the thing? Did you do the thing? Don't forget to do the thing! ??

The reality is you need to find the sidekick that works for you. It could also be a coach or a virtual assistant to help keep you on the straight and narrow.

Embrace the ADHD Sidekick and unleash your inner productivity hero!

What do you use as your Sidekick?

This works like a dream. I have a pile of sticky notes in any room I go into. It's my dump pad (brain dump). Some as your side kick. My clients love it too.

The impact of #ADHD on performance and success. #neurodiversity

Three of the most incredible athletes of all time, in my opinion, are ADHD.

Simone Biles, Usain Bolt, and Michael Phelps.

They're all ADHD.

Three of the most elite athletes of all time are ADHD.

Hmm, well that's fascinating, right, and I can give you examples, right, across all different types of organisations.

The three white, they're not quite middle aged, they're older now, but I'm middle aged, so it's hard to define.

Anyway, the three old guys, multi-billionaires or whatever, who are going out into space, they're all, they're all neurodiverse, right, they're all ADHD, dyslexic, autistic, ooh.

So now we're starting to see some kind of pattern, right?

People doing incredible things outside of the norm, they're Neurodiverse.

This is an extract from a talk I did at #IHRLive in manchester, let me know if you want a link to the full talk.

the magic power of Hyperfocus! ??

The way we communicate matters!

Stop speaking without first listening!

Words matter... The power of copy in communication and engagement matters.

The way we speak, write and communicate with our fellow people can turn them off just as quickly as it can turn them on.

This is okay if you're building your little tribe, but not so good if you want to encourage diversity within your workplace, your community, and the in your teams.

What do you think is the best way to ensure your communication strategy is accessible to as many people as possible? This doesn't have to be at the cost of good targeting, just to ensure there is variety and diversity in the area you're targeting.

Theo, I would always ask them and then contract with them in terms of the available time and what they would like to be different at the end of our conversation.
What's also important is to know how they will know that the communication has been helpful and how we can communicate best together to keep the power in the middle.

Calling all Tech For Good Devs

Hello friends, who knows any Developers they can tag who like to get involved in early stage design of 'Tech for Good' where funds are tight but passion and belief in concept is sky high?

A big ask I know!

Stoyan Yankov and the crew at Startup Wise Guys any thoughts?

Luke Shipley you smashed early stage design out of the park with Zinc, any thoughts?

Alan Walker I'm a big advocate of you and the work you do with Udder, what's your take, any tech companies that might direct me?

Michael Blakley you've already been more than helpful, but as I love your mission, tech and values, worth another cheeky ask! ;)

Goda Go something we've yet to discuss but can add to our future conversation? :O)
