5/21/20: Paris Jour Et Nuit #6.

Farmer’s Market, Monoprix & Picard.

This morning early wake-up for fresh organic produce at our neighborhoods’ local farmer’s market. Then an indulgent stop at the gourmet grocery store.

The grocery stores in France are so exciting! I just want to dive my entire body into the cheese, puree, pizza, pasta and dessert sections!

In other words, never go grocery shopping with Laureline in a gourmet grocery store in France when Laureline is starving; the grocery run will end up being 1,000 euros!

Little afternoon stroll across the brand-new bridge that is literally a couple minutes walk from my parent’s home and it takes you across and along the beautiful Seine River!

The Seine River runs through Paris and is 485 miles long and passes under 37 bridges and through multiple locks. The river is used daily for water consumption, shipping, and tourism. The Seine is dredged so that boats won't get stuck on the bottom.

Day 6 and we are still extremely happy, healthy and going strong…
