5182 aluminum alloy. 5182 aluminum alloy belongs to high magnesium alloys and cannot be heat treated to strengthen annealing. It is used for making tensile parts with a magnesium content between 4% and 5%, and is one of the few alloys that have both strength and can be used for tensile stamping.
Characteristics of 5182 aluminum alloy:
Good corrosion resistance, excellent welding performance, and excellent annealing and forming conditions. 5182 alloy mainly contains magnesium and can only be used for hot rolling process.
The commonly used alloy states for 5182 alloy are H1 1H11 2H32, and Outai is annealed to the softest state. H111 requires aluminum processing and cold deformation treatment after annealing treatment. H112 status indicates products suitable for hot processing molding.
H32 state, grain hardening and stabilization to 1/4 hardness. The purpose of 5182 medium thick plate and thick plate is storage tank. The purpose of the 5182 thin plate is for sheet metal processing of four doors and two covers for automobiles, as well as pull tab for cans.
