Fifty years ago today, human beings escaped the bonds of earth for the first time. The journey of Apollo 8 around the moon is an amazingly important mission for mankind.

These first true space travelers' Christmas message to all of us left here back on earth, is timeless and wonderful and should be remembered by all.
