The challenge for today’s CEO is being true leaders, managing the turmoil of the present while creating a sustainable future and protecting—or in some cases re-establishing—the digital strategy of their organizations. Leadership is Art. Management is Craft. To better understand it, let us look at Professor Henry Mintzberg′s stance on it:
The current war has created numerous challenges Yet even before the war, organizations around the world were facing major structural changes in the way that they do business because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Brian Chesky is completely right because added to all the above, is the digital revolution, which is fundamentally altering the way that most companies interact with their suppliers, customers, and wider stakeholders.
The recent global inflation has added to the pressures created by these structural changes, draining balance sheets of cash and organizations of the resources to effect change.
The change is the transition from the old 1.0 world to the current 5.0 world, this is the picture:
The 5.0 world values effective leadership at a premium— and levy a discount for ineffective leadership. Board of Directors want to see leaders who have the mental agility to think clearly and quickly, the practical skills to implement strategy effectively, and the digital skills needed to build teams and relationships. BoDs do not, though, expect to find all these attributes in any one individual alone. It is a top-to-bottom teamwork horizontal leadership approach, the one which succeeds.
Leaders who fail to communicate digitally, lose the confidence of the BoDs. So, too, do those who take an autocratic approach to management.
In preparing for the challenges ahead, organizations need to be aware of the leadership premium model.
Clear strategy is the greatest premium that a company can provide. The CEO must know the
digital market well. This means proficient use of all of LinkedIn digital modules. The stakeholders (clients, suppliers, employees and BoDs) want to see whether the CEOs have a unique and well?conceived strategy, not something similar to what their competitors’ are doing i.e. a digital pizza margherita in Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Strategy is indeed a cognitive ladder where each step of the ladder must come from a cognitive process. This is critically important in the current P2P Digital World which is as liquid as water.
The steps of a strategic cognitive ladder are indeed management modules, specifically eight, namely:

2 年Industries that produces leadership in spainish should take predemously control over reflux and should be more addressive to america leadership as CEO Broadcast. Also we should look towards, the racist of business that are not offen product Big CEO as a company. Atleast the ruin-force why some company ARE not merchant Companies, is that the elicit crime of disthort foundation are not capable to produce properties that give assets a place to procceed successful in africa, like naija a republic of nigeria. Many are falling apart because executive only depend on taxes and also believe with the big idea, in creating fund without the people concerts.
