In this spring, HGTECH Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park welcomed several batches of customers from the Korean market, many of whom were familiar faces.
"So far, we have received 3 customers, and sales orders of several million have been generated," said Yang Peng, the general manager of HGTECH?Korean subsidiary.
"Since we purchased your equipment,?our annual revenue has increased by about 30% every year for nearly 3 years," a customer from Seoul, Korea expressed high recognition for the quality and efficiency of the high-power laser equipment during the visit. In the past five years, the customer has purchased multiple Marvel series cutting machines and WALC large-format laser cutting machines, showing outstanding performance in cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

In 2018, a well-known customer from Korea came to Wuhan in search of a partner for their 10,000-watt cutting equipment. This was a significant opportunity for HGTECH because, in the long run, securing this customer would mean having an important benchmark client in?Korea?market, which could drive a large demand in the future.
"Before working with us, they had only used European and American equipment. For five years, we have been the only Chinese brand in their factory," said Yang Peng. Initially, working with this customer was not easy because they had never used Chinese equipment and had doubt?about Chinese brands.
The customer?requested continuous cutting for 7-8 hours according to the drawings to verify stability and consistency, and they wanted to personally verify it in their factory. "Just the cost of purchasing the steel plate for cutting is more than 8,000 yuan. If we couldn't secure the deal, our investment would have been in vain, so we had to prepare everything within a day. At that time, only a few Chinese manufacturers had just entered the market with megawatt-level laser cutting machines, and European and American brands had not yet entered this high-power range. The process debugging was also complex and required experience from scratch," Yang Peng said.

The whole team held a belief of winning and was determined to win the customer. "We searched for relevant resources in Wuhan overnight, from material preparation to equipment debugging, to overcoming technical difficulties. We tried every means possible and finally achieved a result that satisfied the customer," Yang Peng said. "Doing everything possible to meet the reasonable demands of customers is the biggest difference between our company and other manufacturers. Other manufacturers made various excuses and only wanted to cut samples. But at that time, we continuously cut for seven or eight hours according to the customer's requirements, and in the end, the customer chose us."
The technical advantages and innovative capabilities received recognition and trust from the customer, and the "new?customer" became a "regular customer."

In 2018, they purchased a 12kw Marvel laser cutting equipment.
In 2019, they purchased a 12kw WALC large-format laser cutting equipment.
In 2021, they purchased a 20kw WALC large-format laser cutting equipment.
In 2023, they will purchase a 30kw WALC large-format laser cutting equipment.
