5 Weirdest things I had done during my childhood that made me learn something.
Hmm... When I was a kid I can say that I have done a lot of weird and quirky things in my life and I am damn sure that you all will start laughing after reading them.
I think we all have done some or the other weirdest things in our life during childhood. So, it's time to recall all those memories.
List of five weirdest things done by me are:
1. Chocolate Saving
I still remember that I used to do this technique. When I was five years old, I was very crazy about those chocolate balls.
Once, my aunt gifted me a big box full of chocolate balls on my birthday. I was so possessive about that box that I kept that chocolate box in the cupboard and never preferred to give it to someone else.
I never shared it with anyone. After six months, those chocolates got expired and I have no option left with me other than throwing them in the dustbin.
All the hard work that I poured in for preserving the chocolates got wasted in a one go.
One thing that this situation taught me was sharing is caring.
2. Scribbling on a freshly painted wall
You can actually call me a 'Chronic Scribbler' because I have scribbled on walls I guess, for three years. I used to draw my favourite cartoon characters on my house walls.
And guess what, I even scribbled on the house wall of my neighbourhood friend and too it was painted newly.
This incident happened when I was five years old. One day, I went to my friend's house so as to celebrate his birthday party.
And you know what, there I scribbled on his room's wall that was painted newly when they all were busy in enjoying the party. When his mom saw those cartoon characters on the newly painted wall he got scolded.
I guess after reading this article he will come to know about the truth.??
From scribbling on walls, I discovered my love for art.
3. Potato lover
When I was a kid, I used to eat a hell amount of potatoes. I still remember my love for potatoes. I used to steal potatoes from others plate and even from my friend's lunch box during the break time.
When my mom cooked any vegetables she used to put potatoes in it, because I was a big potato lover.
Imagine eating brinjal having potatoes in it? I have eaten it.
And you know what, I used to separate potatoes from every vegetable and eat it at the last as if, I am eating a Swedish after eating food.
One lesson that I learned from this was, that difficult tasks should be your priority. Easier tasks can be done after that.
4. Typical cartoon lover
I was mad about cartoons, especially about those animal cartoons. And can you believe that I used to even act like them in real life?
I still remember that after watching those animals living in their caves, I used to make my own cave with doormats and I used to live in it, pretending that I am also like these animal characters. I know it sounds silly, but believe me, I used to literally enjoy it.
One lesson I learned from this was, that home is so very important not only for humans but for animals too. It is a shelter which protects us even during extreme situations.
5. Magic Show
I still remember my love for magic. One day, I was crying badly but do you know why?
I was crying because on that day there was a magic show in a nearby theatre and I was so happy that I cried out of happiness.
I attended that magic show and after coming back home, I started doing those same magics.
I told my mom, that I will become invisible you won't be able to see me. I asked her to close her eyes and at that very moment, I hide under the dining table.
It taught me a lesson that, never escape from problems, don't become invisible. Just face them with courage.
So, these were some of the weirdest things I have done when I was a kid.
CONCLUSION
I am feeling nostalgic while I am writing all these things. I am even laughing badly while writing all these incidents. These weirdest incidents made me learn and explore new things in life.
Oh, man!! You know what, I could write a book on this because I have done so many weirdest things in my life.
And guess what would be its title???
That’s it, hope you loved it. I would be more than happy if you send your feedback and suggestions.

4 年Congratulations on posting your first LinkedIn article. :-) Please continue writing up about these forgotten childhood memories. Even today also, I don't compromise in chocolates, lays & kurkure :-D no matter with whom I am dealing with. My father calls me alien as I still watch the old series Teletubbies & Tom Jerry is my regular routine. It's ok to be weird! :-) PS: When you are writing your next article?
