5 Ways to Wellbeing

If you struggle with mental health, you can take specific actions to improve it.

In fact, the "5 Ways to Wellbeing" are evidence-based steps proven to be effective in improving your mental health.

Each "way" is also simple to understand. The challenge is to implement them consistently, especially when you feel unwell.

For example, when you're depressed:

  • You want to withdraw rather than connect.
  • You want to stay in bed rather than go for a walk.
  • You forget what gives you joy.
  • You lack the drive to try new things.
  • You feel you have nothing to give.

But if you practice the 5 Ways when you feel like doing their opposite, your mental health will improve.
