If you are a tennis coach, this is the most important post that you will ever read in your career.
I'm serious too.
Because.
Once you understand the power of leverage and how to use it to grow your career and your coaching business, nothing and no one will be able to stop you from being SUPER successful as a coach.
I mean, you are going to be able to do anything that you want to do and everything that you want during your career.
First.
You have to realize that leverage is getting more with less, it's taking advantage of other people's assets, knowledge, relationships, and money.
This is why, you, as a coach, need to be using it in every area of your life and business.
Please write that down.
Okay now.
Let's get into how you can use leverage to take your coaching career and program to another level in months!
The first thing that you have to do is…
Start leveraging your time.
I struggle with this too.
But, I have gotten better at not wasting my time these days.
And so can YOU.
Start investing your time in reading, prospecting for students, learning a new skill, and mastering marketing.
The best way to go about doing this is simple.
During the day, always ask yourself this question.
Is this the most productive way for me to spend my time right now?
Next.
Leverage other coaches' knowledge.
As we talked about before.
Study and learn from the best coaches that are out there in all sports.
Both past and present.
Leverage their knowledge by adapting and tweaking their coaching strategies and philosophies while implementing them on your students.
To internalize their knowledge.
Teach it the minute you learn it.
Then whenever you can't teach it to your students, go back over the information again and work on the gaps in your learning process and keep trying to teach it to your players until you can.
What's great about doing this is… you become what you teach.
The more you teach and study from great coaches, the better you get as a tennis coach.
Number 3.
Leverage your coaching network.
Of course.
Before you can do that.
You have to grow your coaching network.
So, today, write down a networking plan for the next 5 to 1 year to 6 months.
The questions that you need to be answering are these.
Where should I be networking right now?
Where do most of my prime networking targets gather or hang out?
How good are my networking skills?
After you come up with your answers, get busy planing and taking action on your networking plans.
Review your plans monthly and revise them when needed.
Also, you should know that.
Your coaching network will determine your coaching net worth at the end of your career!
Number 4.
Leverage other people's money.
We are talking OPM all day.
This is tied to your network.
Meaning.
Focus on growing your network with influential people, and then leverage those relationships with OPM.
Make sure you target people who can help you grow your career and your coaching business.
So.
Go and follow the money and network with successful people.
To be successful at networking, you must be consistent, persistent, and patient, because it takes time to build trust.
Another thing.
There are tons of free grants, loans, etc. you can apply for too.
This is good debt as well.
Because you can use the loan to expand your coaching program and then pay it off FAST and be free to do it all over again many times to hack into your growth.
Last one.
Leverage other people's skills.
Yes.
You can outsource your way to wealth as a coach.
Learn how to leverage other people's skill sets in every part and phase of your coaching operations.
This is properly the most important thing that you have to leverage, so make a note of it.
I'll share a powerful quote I heard from a successful entrepreneur in Kobe one time at a party.
He said.
Thomas, every time I meet someone, the first thing I think to myself is, how can I use this person's skills to help me in my business?
You see.
That's how the wealthy people think, and that is why they are so damn wealthy!
They know that leveraging other people's skills can help them get and stay rich.
So, you need to take the same mindset as well from today and start thinking in terms of leverage.
You should actually take about 30 minutes right now and meditate on this subject, go deep into what I am trying to get through to you here in this post, and contemplate what I just shared with you.
Then.
Find people with the skill sets to help you grow your online and offline coaching business, and always be looking for more people in the future.
Wow.
That's a pretty cool list to get started with today, right?
You should print out the post and then post it up somewhere to refer back to as you are implementing these 5 tips for using the power of leverage.
And please.
Get on top of this thing now, because your coaching career will depend on you doing, and seeing this thing through to the end.
