5 ways to stop telling yourself "I'm in the wrong job"

Are you stuck in a job that you feel isn't right for you??

Are you constantly telling yourself "I'm in the wrong job"?

If you are, don't worry, you're not alone.?

A lot of people find themselves in this situation at some point in their career.?

But just because a lot of people find themselves in this position doesn't mean that it's okay.?

If you're not happy with your current job, there are things you can do to change it.?

Here are five ways to stop telling yourself "I'm in the wrong job" and start doing something about it.

1. Identify your passions and skills

Your work should never be based on something that’s just trending, and not around what you’d love to do and what you’re naturally good at.

What are your true passions and interests??

What are some of your best skills that you feel good about?

Sit for about 10 quiet minutes, and think about it.

Write down what comes to your mind on the first thought.?

Does your job let you work on your passions and use your best skills?

If not, it’s time to move on!

2. Make a list of what you don't like about your current job

There are always a few aspects of your job that you may not like.

What is it that you don’t like or even hate about your job?

Is it a kind of task, people or pay check?

Take a note of everything.

How do you feel about your list in your body?

Does it feel terrible?

If so, it has to be dealt with right now.?

You deserve peace and sanity.

3. Research Jobs that match your passions and skills

Never ever apply for any job just for the heck of it.

This is what I keep on talking about.

Spend some time on a few job sites, and see what kind of positions are open that match your passions and skills.?

Read the Job Descriptions carefully. Research the companies a bit.

4. Take action - start applying for jobs, networking with people in those careers, etc.

After you do all of the above, don’t keep sitting on the fence.

Take action now, no matter how small that looks and feels.

Start applying for ‘Right For You’ Job positions, and not just any random job openings in your industry using a customised resume.

5. Start and keep upgrading your mindset

This is the secret sauce that does all the magic.

How do you think and feel about yourself? The Job Market? The Employers? Money?

What are your past career horror stories?

What are your fears and limiting stories??

Do you think in every fibre of your being that you truly deserve to work in your dream company and do your dream job?
