5 Ways to be PROACTIVE with your Payment Protection Plan Application

  1. Meet with your CPA and make sure you have your payroll calculations correct. Contact your CPA, Paychex, ADP or your payroll provider and ask for your 940, 941 2019 W3, 2019 Tax Return or similar payroll documentation.
  2. Take your TIME! I cannot stress this enough. If anything is off, your application could get rejected so double check common areas like: Entity Name, TIN, Spelling of your Name/ Ownership and Contact information. These are government documents so accuracy is key.
  3. Make sure the amount on your 2483 matches any additional information sent to you by your lender and the amount of your payroll claim per your W3, 940, 941 or similar documentation.
  4. Read the instructions, and complete the application thoroughly, don't rush. I know we are all panicked but take your time and verify all the details twice.
  5. Be patient, lenders all across the country are working hard to bring you the PPP loan funds, so be patient with your lender and trust that if you have submitted your application accurately, you will be contacted.
