From time to time terms and words appear that spread rapidly. A current case that we have heard a lot is RESILIENCE! The one who uses the word literally to describe strength or determination is actually confused.

After all, it is still a practical synonym of strength, since, in life, the strongest is the one who most easily adapts to the constant changes that life gives us.

Seek for trust

Resilient people have strategies and trust in them. The main (strategy) is to develop a functional outlet against stress. Avoid feelings that don't add to the situation and don't help you focus on a solution. Resilient people have strong self-esteem and trust in themselves. As much as the storm seems fatal, they focus on their skills, maintaining a learning and growing mindset. When things go wrong, they notice and bounce back quickly. It's important to ask yourself, "What did I learn from this?"

Refocus and revise goals

All good performance starts with clear goals and expectations. In difficult times, leaders need to prioritize and reassess the goals of the company and, consequently, of their employees. It is essential that the leader be and appear closer. You may have heard that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Well, in business, the corollary is to continue doing the same things, even if your market has changed significantly. That is, to be resilient, there is a need to constantly adapt to the environment.

Involve your people

I know, it's difficult to inform that the situation is not so pleasant and, even so, contribute to the motivation of your team. The fear of demotivating the departments is a big one. But you will be surprised. When your team really cares about the company, it's different. New strategies that will change the course of things often come from them.
