5 Ways to Boost Your Imagination
Having a healthy imagination is important for many different aspects of your life.?
If you've realised you don't have a healthy imagination, this can leave you wondering just what you can do to improve it. Below are five ways to accomplish just that.
1.????Read
Although reading has gone out of style over the past few years, it is the first thing you should do when you want to boost your imagination. Reading opens the doors of your mind and boosts the creative receptors of your brain. Think of it as a magic potion that gets your imagination going.?
2.????Get Enough Sleep
Being imaginative is impossible if you are always tired or out of energy. Getting enough sleep every night is an important part of boosting your imagination. Most adults need at least eight hours of sleep each night, and some need even more. If you struggle to get enough sleep, it may help to step away from the electronics well before bedtime.?

3.????Do Something You Loved to Do as a Child
Remember when you were a kid and being imaginative was easy? Well, boost your imagination by taking yourself back to something you used to enjoy doing when you were younger. This can help jump-start your imagination once again and get you thinking creatively.
4.????Try Something New
Do you feel like you are stuck in a rut, and you can't imagine a way out of it? Part of the problem may be that you need to step out of your comfort zone to open your mind to the idea of something new. If there is a place you have always wanted to travel to, go for it. If there is a class you've always wanted to take, now is the time to do it. Your imagination will thank you.?
5.????Journal
Writing every day is a great way to get your imagination moving. If you don't know what to write about, that's okay! Start by writing about your day or your feelings and see where you end up! Ideally, you should try to write for 10-15 minutes each evening. It can also help to look up some creative writing prompts to help get you started!
It isn't that hard to get your imagination going. All you have to do is commit to keeping your mind healthy with enough sleep, turning off the devices, and spending a little time doing, and writing about, the things you love. Before you know it, you will have a healthy imagination!
