5 Ways of Adaptability

Joining Bangkit Academy as part of the Machine Learning Cohort organized by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, and Traveloka was a very valuable experience for my career development. The program taught me technical skills as well as adaptability in various aspects, such as interacting, achieving goals, learning, working, and thinking. Here are five ways to adapt that I learned during my time at Bangkit

1. Ways of Interacting

At first, I sought information about the program through social media and received complete guidance from the Bangkit team via email. Discord became the main platform for communication, and the use of English in every interaction encouraged me to hone my communication skills. Active participation in team discussions, trainings, and weekly consultations helped me build cross-cultural communication skills and work effectively in a team.

2. Ways of Achieving

While working at Bangkit, I learned the importance of focusing on self-development to achieve my goals. I developed the ability to set priorities, complete tasks on time, and make the most of opportunities. The program encouraged me to give my best in every challenge I faced, making me more accustomed to efficient and result-oriented work.

3. Ways of Learning

Effective learning methods greatly affect the final result. I divide my time well between theory and practice, and utilize platforms like Dicoding and Coursera. These programs give me the freedom to organize more structured self-directed learning, allowing me to master complex concepts in greater depth and apply them to real projects.

4. Ways of Working

Time management is an important skill that I learned. By following Bangkit's intensive schedule, I had to balance my studies and personal commitments. Monitoring my schedule through Google Calendar, Discord, and email helps me to stay connected and complete my tasks. Discipline in maintaining focus amidst various demands helps me to be more productive.

5. Ways of Thinking

An evolving mindset is key to success at Bangkit. The challenges I face, both in complex tasks and time management, teach me to always learn and adapt. Every obstacle becomes an opportunity to grow, and this mindset encourages me to think creatively, flexibly, and always look for solutions. I am better prepared to face future challenges with more confidence.
