5 Ways of Adaptability

While having robust hard skills is undeniably valuable in the professional realm, excelling in today's fast-paced environment requires a vital skill: adaptability. I am delighted to share my extensive experience in five essential aspects of adaptability that I refined throughout my journey at Bangkit Academy.

Ways of Interacting

Bangkit Academy unites students from diverse backgrounds, including various regions in Indonesia, different fields of study, a wide range of ages, and even different languages. I got to know many new people, and it was those diversities that encouraged me to become a better communicator. Through active involvement in classroom discussions, I grew comfortable voicing my thoughts and sharing ideas with classmates. As a result, I began to perceive things from multiple perspectives and became more open to varying viewpoints.

Ways of Achieving

As we know, success is not a one-day story. It’s a journey of our hard work and consistent efforts. The same principle applies to learning. To achieve my ultimate goal in this program, I should always maintain consistency and discipline. That's the reason I've adopted The Four Quadrants approach to manage my time effectively. By maintaining this productivity, I am confident that I can make significant progress in my learning journey.

Ways of Learning

My experience at Bangkit Academy was an absolute game-changer for me. I gained a wealth of knowledge in programming-related subjects and was able to develop soft skills under the guidance of proficient instructors. One of the biggest highlights for me was the opportunity to learn English from native-speaking instructors.

Ways of Working

Bangkit Academy resembles a professional work environment, where I became familiar with managing tight deadlines and using a variety of working tools. In this setting, the tasks we worked on were held to Google's high standards, motivating me to consistently strive for code excellence.

Ways of Thinking

I used to hold many fixed mindsets about myself. However, I worked to recognize them and transform all those fixed mindsets into growth mindsets. Bangkit Academy was one of the places where I learned and deepened my understanding of dealing with those fixed mindsets. Not only that, I was also taught to tackle problems using critical thinking, which has enabled me to become a great problem solver.
