5 Ways of Adaptability

Adaptability is the ability to learn flexibly and efficiently and to apply that knowledge across situations, this ability enables us to grow and survive in any situation.These are my experiences of adapting with 5 ways to adaptability since i joined the Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka Program

Ways of Interacting

Bangkit 2024 presented a unique set of adaptability challenges. The program united individuals from diverse backgrounds, necessitating a shift in my interaction style as we transitioned to using English as our primary language. Despite initial difficulties, the program provided a practical platform for communication, fostering interpersonal skills through engagement with peers, mentors, and instructors. The utilization of digital platforms like Google Meet, Gmail, and Discord further expanded my adaptability to various communication tools in the digital realm.

Ways of Achieving

Bangkit's structured approach and defined milestones instilled purpose and direction. Achieving success demanded dedication, adaptability, and aligning personal goals with collective efforts, such as reaching the #1 monthly milestone and accumulating 500 points. The pursuit of achievement in Bangkit 2024 demanded unwavering dedication and adaptability to meet ambitious learning goals and project requirements. This journey emphasized the significance of focusing on incremental progress rather than immediate success.

Ways of Learning

At Bangkit, learning took place in a structured and dynamic environment, fostering the acquisition of new skills. My chosen learning path, "Mobile Development," involved ILT sessions and final submissions that were instrumental in propelling my continuous learning journey. In the dynamic Bangkit environment, I honed my learning skills. Adapting to the rapid learning curve required staying updated with industry trends, leveraging online resources, and seeking assistance from mentors and friends.

Ways of Working

Working at Bangkit entailed adapting to a rigorous schedule featuring multiple sessions such as ILT-SS, ILT-Tech, and self-paced learning, all accompanied by numerous assignments and submissions. Managing time within such a tight schedule posed an initial challenge, but I swiftly adapted and learned to complete tasks punctually. Adapting to a rigorous schedule required effective project management, time management tools, and unwavering dedication to learning. Flexibility and adaptability were key in navigating the dynamic work environment at Bangkit.

Ways of Thinking

The Bangkit program fostered a shift from a fixed to a growth mindset, emphasizing the value of the learning process, viewing challenges as opportunities, and thinking creatively and critically.
