5 Ways of Adaptability

Hello, I am Firah Mufiidah Hidayat, from batch CC-54 of Bangkit 2023. In this Adaptability & Resilience topic, I have learned about the 5 Ways needed to adapt, which are ways of interacting, achieving, learning, working and thinking.?but first I will give you a quote from a famous scientist.
it means intelligence is the ability to adapt to change, including flexibility, creativity, and the ability to adjust how you think and act according to the situation. It is not only about intellectual intelligence, but also includes emotional and social intelligence. An emotionally and socially intelligent person can recognize and regulate their own and others emotions, and understand social situations well to adapt successfully in an ever-changing environment.
Next, I will share my experience by sharing the 5 Ways of adaptability I have done upon joining Bangkit 2023 program, first thing is ways of interacting.
In the beginning, I rarely used the discord platform to communicate intensely, but since joining Bangkit, I have had to adapt to online interactions in the discord application.
After getting used to using it, It turns out that I am quite comfortable with the various features of discord, there are many activities that can be done on discord that help me to get acquainted with fellow batches to mentors.
English is the language used by Bangkit in every activity, for example in providing learning materials. This encourages me to explore English more deeply, such as starting to explore grammar and increasing vocabulary, although sometimes I still need the help of a translator application, but for me it is one of the learning processes.
????In interacting, I also apply to have good manners in communicating, for example doing greetings, introducing myself to explain briefly and concisely the purpose of my communication with that person (especially in personal communication).
This is because I really appreciate the people I communicate with and to maintain harmony in dealing well with others who have different cultures and backgrounds to differences in communication preferences, so that every activity that takes place can run well and conducive, starting from activities such as ILT to weekly consultants.?
Secondly i want to share about ways of achieving.
Honestly, as far as this program goes, I am very excited to participate in the activities because there are rewards for participants such as points that can be exchanged for merchandise at the end of the activity, especially if the activities that are followed produce good feedback, for example my content on TikTok for the time management challenge entered the top 50 winners and received 1500 points from Bangkit.
I feel that I have more value in myself which makes me motivated to participate well in all the activities.
Next, ways of learning.

Once a week, there is one day where the mentor holds a weekly consultant to monitor progress, for example: online learning, assignments, etc. and ensure that participants follow the activities well, and if there are obstacles the mentor can help or provide suggestions so that the obstacles can be resolved.
Activities/events organized by Bangkit, such as chalangge and nonmandatory weekly, give me space to be creative and add new knowledge. I also joined GDSC-UG where I can make friends with persons who have similar interests and get direction/help from seniors and get various information about activities such as competitions etc.?
Next, ways of working.
During Bangkit activities, google products such as google classroom, gmeet, gdrive, gmail, to gcalender are platforms that I often use, this ecosystem makes it very easy for me to complete the tasks given because they are integrated with each other.
And time is very important for the continuity of activities, starting from the schedule that has been set for activities for the next week, the time and deadline for each task. This is one of the cultures applied to always be ontime at every opportunity, this makes me motivated to become a scheduled person (not deadliner) especially when there is a punishment and I really avoid it, this is what makes me now aware of time.
last, it's about ways of thinking.
Sometimes because I'm too comfortable with my circumstances, I get lazy to try new things and participate in different activities. This keeps me stuck in one place, prevents me from developing my abilities, and misses out on opportunities that I might have.
This happened because I was too afraid of failure, which made me feel like I didn't want to try or change, my mindset was still fixed. But slowly I started to develop my mind to express myself, participate in activities, etc.
This is good for me because there are many opportunities that I can seize, the fear that used to haunt me is gone after I dared to conquer my own negative thoughts.
