I will present "5 Ways of Adaptability" in this article obtained from Bangkit Academy. Thank you to Bangkit Academy for the enlightening session! ??
- Interacting: While participating in the Bangkit program, I interacted with students with different backgrounds and different ways of communicating. This requires me to have the ability to adapt to face these challenges. The online learning method also encouraged me to interact more with Bangkit program students and made me interested in getting to know the diversity of Bangkit program students. Apart from that, communicating using English is a challenge that motivates me to be active and interact with Bangkit friends.
- Achieving: I studied at Bangkit for almost two months, even though the learning was mostly done independently, this was not an excuse for me to be lazy. This is a challenge for me to be able to adapt so that I can achieve all the targets set by Bangkit. By joining Bangkit, it has become a motivation for me to be able to adapt to any learning method, such as ILT which requires me to be disciplined about everything, always take quizzes, and be enthusiastic about achieving something.
- Learning: Considering its online based of Bangkit and its busy schedule which requires me to complete assigned tasks independently, this has made me discover a new learning style. Even though learning is online-based, this gives me encouragement to actively discuss with friends. This new learning style has proven to be beneficial in terms of new knowledge and skills for me because it not only provides knowledge, it also makes me a more active person.
- Working: As someone who likes flexibility, I think this is an advantage for me because Bangkit provides flexible learning hours even though they are busy. Being able to work flexible hours makes it easier for me to organize my schedule according to my wishes, but still be efficient. The awakening also enabled me to implement better time management, determine activity priorities, and even made it easier for me to adapt to the new work atmosphere.
- Thinking: Three ILT soft skills classes proved invaluable in my Bangkit program journey. Thinking in a developmental way, determining the priority scale of an activity, eliminating activities that have less positive impact, and adapting to something new. All of these things which initially became a challenge then turned into an encouragement for me to continue to develop and survive until now.
