5 Ways Of Adaptability

My journey in Bangkit Academy 2024, supported by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, and Traveloka, has been transformative in developing my adaptability both personally and professionally. As a participant in the Cloud Computing path, I faced challenges that pushed me to grow in five key areas: interacting, achieving, learning, working, and mindset.

1. Interaction

Adapting to a diverse group of peers from various cultural and educational backgrounds was essential. Initially passive in discussions, I gradually became more confident in expressing my ideas. Embracing different perspectives and fostering open communication improved my teamwork and collaboration skills, enriching my learning experience.

2. Achievement

The fast-paced environment at Bangkit required effective goal setting and time management. To manage the intense workload, I broke down complex tasks into smaller steps and celebrated small victories, which motivated me to push my limits and achieve both technical and personal growth.

3. Learning

The rigorous Cloud Computing curriculum demanded quick adaptation in my learning strategies. I adopted a self-directed approach, balancing hands-on practice, live sessions, and peer discussions. This refinement of my learning methods made me more efficient in acquiring knowledge and applying it to real-world projects.

4. Working

Adapting my work style for individual and group assignments, especially during capstone projects, was crucial. I focused on time and energy management by establishing a routine that allowed me to dedicate 8-9 hours daily to my studies. Bangkit challenged me to maintain productivity while managing online learning, emphasizing the importance of flexibility in a dynamic environment.

5. Mindset

The most significant transformation occurred in my mindset. Bangkit promoted a growth mindset, viewing challenges and failures as learning opportunities. Whether troubleshooting cloud architectures or facing new problems, I learned to approach obstacles with curiosity and resilience, seeing setbacks as integral to the learning process.
