5 Verticals and Virtual Reality

These 5 verticals are fundamentally going to change with Virtual Reality. 

  1. Education

While education may not necessarily be the first vertical that gets seriously impacted by Virtual Reality, it will not be the last either. Virtual Reality is going to alter education at all levels, starting with elementary to medical degree. Imagining something and actually living is are two completely different things and VR is shaping up to be a product that is going to further reduce this gap. 

Cardboard VR + a slightly more advanced product under a budget of $100 would do the trick. 

2. Training 

Corporate training or training for a vocational program from fixing a car to handling a $100K machine is an extension of education but also more hands-on. Tools/controllers will be required to create this experience and integrating it in tools will enable everything to be just different. 

3. Real Estate

Buying Real Estate today is a very time consuming and non-emotional process. People are laying down enough money but still can't get the experience of actually living in that house. Imagine if you could and also experience areas around it. 

4. Ecommerce

Buying electronics today is a 2D experience but instead imaging to actually wait in the line to buy an item is a game changer. 

5. Gaming

Gaming ofcourse is going to be huge and being early adopters, they also tend to push the boundary for performance and latency.
