Merry Christmas to you and your family!
It’s been another amazing year at Chai and Coaching. I am so thankful that you have been a part of the community. My family and I are taking some time to celebrate to be with family and remember what Christmas is all about - and I hope you have some time to do the same.
I get a lot of questions around Christmas regarding its origins and the meaning of certain traditions. As someone who loves to study culture, it’s funny how things like putting a tree in your house and stringing up lights have become ways to celebrate and remember Christmas.
Christmas is a special time of year because it’s when followers of Lord Jesus remember his birth. If you’re interested in learning more, here is a video that does a great job explaining it.

Hang Christmas lights around your balcony, apartment, desk, or any place that you want to light up. Plug in the lights and enjoy your festive display! These lights help us remember the true light that came at Christmas many years ago.
2. Decorate a Christmas Tree ??
The Christmas tree is an important symbol of the holiday season. The tradition of the Christmas tree dates back to the 16th century in Germany, where families would bring a small tree into their home and decorate it as a sign of their faith. The Christmas tree is a beloved symbol of the holiday season that brings joy and celebration to homes around the world.
3. Make Christmas Cookies ??
Christmas cookies are a special treat that many families love to eat and gift each other this time of year. Some favorites include: sugar cookies, gingerbread cookies, Russian tea cakes, and peppermint bark, and so many more! This are actually quite easy to make at home, but you can also find pre-made ones at any grocery store. If you are feeling festive, try decorating them with friends!

4. Sing Christmas Carols ??
Perhaps you’ve heard them playing in the store or mall, but there are so many beautiful songs or carols that are sung during this time of year. These old songs like” Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” is a celebration of the birth of Jesus and often sung during Christmas services and celebrations. “Away in a Manger” is a simple and sweet song that tells the story surrounding the birth of Jesus. Some other favorites include Joy to the World, O Holy Night, and Silent Night. These carols will get you back to the heart of Christmas.
5. Watch Classic Holiday Movies ??
