5 Top Questions answered about Experts Live Europe - Part IV

With only a little over 2 weeks to go until Experts Live Europe 2018 (excitement now really kicks in!!), I’ll focus on the conference logistics and useful information you need to know before you go.

1. How do I get from the Airport in Prague to the Prague Congress Center?

The Václav Havel Prague Airport is just 30 minutes from the PCC. You can travel by taxi, Uber or, alternatively, by Prague public transport. The PCC is located at the underground station Vy?ehrad (metro line C). Visit the Prague Public Transit website for maps, time tables, fares and route planning. The address of the Prague Congress Center is: 5. kvetna 1640/65, Nusle, 140 00 Prague 4, Czechia.

2. Through which entrance of the Prague Congress Center do I enter for Experts Live Europe?

You need to go through the main entrance 2 or 3. You will see numbers above the doors around the building. Once you enter through the main entrance 2 or 3, you will see the Experts Live Europe welcome desk right in front of you. Experts Live Europe 2018 takes place on the 1st floor of the Prague Congress Center.

3. What are the distances between the Prague Congress Center and the other locations?

• Prague Airport to/from Prague Congress Center: 20 km
• Prague Congress Center to/from Conference Hotels Corinthia & Holiday Inn: 200m
• Conference Hotels Corinthia & Holiday Inn to/from Cloud9 Sky Bar & Lounge: 4km

(there are no shuttles between the locations)

4. Do I need to print my ticket and where do I pick up my badge?

We are kind to the environment, you don’t need to print your ticket. Please bring a photo ID which matches the name of your registration. Your badge will already be shiny and polished waiting for you at the registration desk as follows:

Pre-Conference Attendees (Regular & VIP)

On October 24th the doors of main entrance 2 and 3 at the Prague Congress Center open at 09:00. You can pick up your badge at the registration desk between 09:00 and 10:00. The pre-conference tracks start at 10:00 sharp, so make sure you arrive on time.

Main Conference Attendees (VIP only)

On October 24th the doors of Cloud9 Sky Bar & Lounge open at 19:00. You can pick up your badge on the top floor at the entrance of Cloud9 any time prior to entering the party between 19:00 and 22:00. Don’t forget your photo ID to collect your badge!

There is a strict door policy, only VIP badge holders have access to the VIP Party. It's not possible to purchase a ticket at the entrance.

Main Conference Attendees (Regular)

On October 25th the doors of main entrance 2 and 3 at the Prague Congress Center open at 07:30. You can pick up your badge at the registration desk right in front of you. The welcome note followed by the keynote, start at 08:30 sharp, so make sure you arrive on time.

5. Is food included at the Prague Congress Center during Experts Live Europe?

Yes, we want your tummies to be filled and your brains to be sharp, so you can process the tons of information that will be shared during Experts Live. All top-quality food & beverages throughout the conference are included in your conference ticket. (That's nice right?)

Welcome

There are drinks (yes also coffee!) and the nice scent of freshly baked croissants or pastries waiting for you in the expo hall every morning when the doors open, until the first morning session starts. So, get out of bed, come to the venue and let’s connect with the community over a cup of coffee at the conference center!

Coffee Breaks

There are drinks and light snacks in the expo hall during all conference coffee breaks. These are also great moments to talk to our sponsors who are part of making Experts Live Europe happen, about their software solutions and offerings developed for Microsoft technologies.

Lunch Breaks

There are drinks and lunch buffets (hot & cold) in the expo hall during all conference lunch breaks. The catering stations also includes vegetarian dishes.

Attendee Networking Party

There are drinks (+ alcoholic beverages) in the expo hall during the attendee networking party, snacks and 3-course dinner buffet stations, including a LIVE Ice-Pan show for dessert! Enjoy Czech’s local cuisine during the attendee networking party and other fun activities we have planned for this evening.

Closing Happy Hour

There are drinks (+ Czech Beer Tasting!) and light snacks in the expo hall during the Closing Happy Hour. This is also the big moment where our sponsors raffle their prizes and where you can win conference tickets for Experts Live Europe 2019!
